uninspiring
by di daa daa di daa (not verified) on Tue Jun 17, 2008 10:19 AM PDTIt reminds me of the tasteless and uninspiring songs they teach kids at kindergartens in Iran. The combination of music, lyrics and the poor (ignorant) performance of the singer definitely weakens the magnificence and glory of the Iranian football team (or any football team for that matter) and presents the players as a bunch of miserable and low class citizens.
Perhaps the reason many Iranians fall for this song is the monotone and repetitive rhythm that their ears has got used to!
di daa daa di daa, di daa daa di daa, di daa daa di daa... for ever and ever and ever and ever and ev...

Ali Daei son in law of Iranian foreign minister Mottaki
by John Carpenter III (not verified) on Tue Jun 17, 2008 05:20 AM PDTDoes anyone on this site or any Iranian in the diaspora know that the manager of the Iranian National soccer team is the son in law of the Iranian Foreign minister? Yes, Ali Daei is the son in law of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign minister Mr. Mottaki.
As a matter of fact, Mr. Daei is politically involved in the election process in Iran. He monetarily funds political campaigns he likes.
Mr. Daei, a native of Ardibil just like Hossein Reza zadeh are hard-core Islamic Republic of Iran supporters.

by Saman on Mon Jun 16, 2008 07:02 PM PDT6/8 only lasts somewhere from 6 to 8 seconds...and so does this. Sorry, but I had to stop it under :10. At least I gave it a Youtube hit!!! If it looks like the 3rd world...sounds like the 3rd world ... it is the 3rd world! Good luck.
Not bad
by Persian (not verified) on Mon Jun 16, 2008 05:47 PM PDTBetter than the stuff that comes out of LA these days. Good footage and all for a good cause, too. Thank you Tara.
Surprisingly...
by Nader on Mon Jun 16, 2008 05:22 PM PDTSurprisingly one of the better songs about Iranian football. At least it has good rythm and great footage.
Well done elan production.
