Iranian vs Brazilliam

by my2c (not verified) on

The Iranian woman seemed a little on the snobbish side, as are many Iranians--sometimes they think they are the best. I could be wrong though, maybe she felt intimidated or maybe she is just not feeling good for health reasons.

The Brazilian lady just seemed more open minded and kind.

This documentary is NOT directed by Rakhshan Bani Etemad. It is produced by the students who participated in one of her master classes, under her supervision. The credit is at the end of the video.

Strangely touching

This was such a simple and touching film. That woman represented a whole generation of wonderful Persian women. Kind. Strong. Hospitable. Dignified. Resourceful and Misunderstood by society and victims of the sad bite of recent history.

Was this supposed to have no translators to help them understand each other?
Was it part of the theme?
Otherwise I am sure there were people around who could facilitate the language problem.
