What are the Persian names for various types of guns/handguns? (not necessarily in the image above). Well we can start from old words and expressions like: loolehbaarouty, tapaancheh, toopdasty, haftlool, sheeshlool...taklool; wich before the revolution it was called "shahkosh"(poor king, man!)and tirandaaz (not meaning the shooter but rather the object itself). More modern Persian words would be: tofang, haftir, asslaheh(garm), mossalssal, kolt or koltkamary and revolver(in Persian pronounciation). After the stupid revolution everybody became a "commando" and they became more pro then the army and names like "jeh-seh"(toopdasty like the Iraqis called it during the war), "klush", Uzi, and lots that I can just keep on naming more and more, mostly expressions and names for weapons during the war! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the "revolutionaries" (sepaahi), they call all of their weapons "naamouss"!�
