ITV -- The US military's top officer has warned that conflict in Iran could prove "extremely stressful" for his forces. Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear facilities would be a high-risk move that could destabilise the whole Middle East. He said: "Opening up a third front right now would be extremely stressful on us. That doesn't mean we don't have capacity or reserve but that would really be very challenging and also the consequences of that are sometimes very difficult to predict.">>>FULL TEXT

Stressful indeed!
by Bahman T (not verified) on Thu Jul 03, 2008 05:01 PM PDTI just heard in the news that Admiral Mullen said he couldn't even get more troops to send to Afghanistan, where the situation there is getting worse everyday. How can they engage in another war which would be much deadlier and costlier? It seems that someone in this administration is finally realizing the severity of situation.

blood, but a 3rd genocide is too much. Even the rednecks are having all sort of stress. However Iran is facing more economic problems than anytime since the 1800s. But thank god there will be no war and Pentagon will deliver the bad news to Dubaya.
