YAS and his importance.
by gobi (not verified) on Thu Feb 19, 2009 10:19 AM PSTI have the pleasure of being YAS's brother from another mother and the guy who made this lil doc on him. I have to say that since working with Tupac, I have not met anyone who is more SADEGHANEH/honest, loyal or purposeful that YAS. In fact he has something that Tupac didn't. He has forgiveness for all the wrongs and pain he has gone thru in his life. I think YAS is an important figure in Iranian music now and will be an important figure in Iran's future. He has a voice that is being listen to, much more than the politicians and the preachers.

Voice, music and lyrics
by XerXes (not verified) on Wed Feb 18, 2009 05:23 PM PSTHe gets it, that's what makes him great. Believe me when I tell you I use to HATE rap. Now I am beginning to understand the power and beauty. His voice is just powerful. Love to meet him. Wish him a great deal of success and health and happiness.
His father (khoda biyaamorz) is proud of him.
A true gentleman
by Adib Masumian on Wed Feb 18, 2009 04:39 PM PSTAbout a year ago I put up a video of one of his first songs, Hoviate Man, with English subtitles. After about a week, he found me on Myspace, sent me a friend request, and wrote a very kind message to me full of praise. We still maintain contact and my admiration for him only grows stronger with every sent message.
Yas is a true gentleman and a real lover of Iran, and when I place his rapping skills next to the other Iranian rappers out there, not one of them can even hold a candle to Yas in the realms of both beat and lyrics.
He's da best!
by sanazi on Wed Feb 18, 2009 04:19 PM PSTYas is a natural rapper, not a poseur like some ... Our best rapper by far.
It's funny how SERIOUS these
