Dariush: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
by shahabshahab on Mon Jul 27, 2009 07:23 PM PDTThis is the kind of song, which defines this difficult period. Very on point. Very much from the heart!
Unlike Dariush, however, there are singers, like Mansour, who ostensily sing for the protesters, while they themselves are openly affiliated with the Mullahs. Mansour's family is tied to Hadi Ghaffari, the infamous mullah. Mansour's father, Hadji Hassan Jafari Mameghani with the help pf Mullahs became very rich when he stole (literally) millions of dollars from innocent Iranians, some of whom had left their belongings (including their homes) in Iran during the post-revolution era. Mansour himself owns such property (a building), which was given to him by the Haji. He has openly stated that he is quite happy that Jewish properties were taken (stolen) by his father and that he is very proud of his father's fraud. People like Mansour are hypocrites, who are connectd to IRI, yet sing so-called pro-Movemnet songs. People, please beware of these imposters!
On the other hand, our dear Dariush, like many other Iranian singers is a true patriot, whose voice moves us and makes us feel sad, yet proud as Iranians. Thank you.
Long Live the memory of these innocent protesters!
Thank You Dariush
by IVoteForPeace on Mon Jul 27, 2009 06:46 PM PDTDear Dariush;
From your first performance in 6 & 8 until now , your voice has stayed magical and your work oiginal. I love what you did here. Can you make one more song that the words are easy to sing and easy to remember so that people could sing it in their marches. Thanks.
What a song, what a singer,
by Farhad Kashani on Mon Jul 27, 2009 05:46 PM PDTWhat a song, what a singer, what a person.
He is simply the best.
Beautiful. It
by Anonymouse on Mon Jul 27, 2009 05:24 PM PDTBeautiful. It reminds me of his songs and Farhad's songs during Shah when I was a teenager and while knew about Savak and fear of speaking up, didn't know much else. He and Farhad sort of calmed things for us and those who were more in their 20s and older than us.
I also remember his songs during Iran-Iraq war and all the way until today. It is as if he somehow feeds on these things. Great job, beautiful and heartwarming.
Everything is sacred.
Beautiful
by Abarmard on Mon Jul 27, 2009 10:56 AM PDTAs most of his songs.
What a tribute...
by Princess on Mon Jul 27, 2009 09:39 AM PDTto the jegar goosh-e-ha-ye Iran!
Thank you, Darius!
Very moving
by Benyamin on Mon Jul 27, 2009 08:53 AM PDTLike always Dariush mastering the masters but this time he mixes his own pain in the songs I am proud of him. I have been in his world class concerts and he is an amazing singer and very patriotic.
God bless him.
