Hey Marjaneh
by ramintork on Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:58 AM PDTYou've been away?
I just looked at your last photos to see what you've been up to, you've seem to have grown. Developing a new language with visual 'objets Trouves'. Roni Horn has her exhibition in Tate right now and she uses objects in different state i.e. identical objects but in different rooms where the first object has left a trace of memory when you look at the second object.
Carry on the good work and keep publishing even if you get silly smarky remarks. Remember, if your work is liked by many it probably isn't advanced enough, and if you do not experiment you do not invent, and if you are not brave with your work, you will stay a coward doomed to repeat the same formula, so carry on being brave and who you are. I want to see your more recent work.
How are you BTW?
He needs to go a bit wild!
by ramintork on Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:15 AM PDTI enjoyed his new style but I think he needs to be less contrived, he needs to let go to live up to the claim of reaching the state of ecstasy.
You see what masters do for excellence is, they learn their Art and then they forget it. That way when you let expression take over the voice is sitting on years of practice and expereince. That way the music would come across as more sincere.
I like the fusion and it is up beat but he needs to go wild!
It is certainly promising.
Mad - hoosh
by Marjan Zahed Kindersley on Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:11 AM PDTI'd rather become bahoosh.

by shirazie (not verified) on Fri Mar 06, 2009 06:58 PM PSTgreat fusion remake of Iranian classic. This the 2nd great fusion Persian music you have posted..
I have feeling we are leaving the sleazy Persian music era of San fernando valley and entering into a new age of Persian music
Bravo
don't like tabla
by Anonymous1 (not verified) on Fri Mar 06, 2009 06:16 PM PSTI liked everything, except the percussion ( tabla) sound. Amongst the percussion instruments, I just don't like the sound of tablas, except in some classic Indian music. I wonder if the choice was deliberate to give it a more eastern, sufi flavor.
dear anonymous...
by IRANdokht on Fri Mar 06, 2009 06:05 PM PSTliterally it means unconscious, senseless
