Ghamar lives again

by soorena on

Last time a classic music performed by a female artist moved me so much was Ghamar. I could close my eyes and picture Ghamar in Sepideh's voice. Ver moving, thanks.

Great music

by bahramthegreat on

I love Persian classical music. I have been living abroad for so many years and western music just doen't move me. But when I listen to giants like shajarian or Sepideh, every nano part of my body moves and vibrates. I am proud to be an Iranian. We have so many good things and should appreciate them.

Got a technical problem :)

Sorry my comment got double posting. I take it as an advantage to post the original performance of "Sarve Azad" by Shahram Nazeri. I had already posted this video for remembering Meshkatian, but again,

She has a beautiful voice and great talent. I throughly enjoyed those videos. Yes, we must be proud of our talented hamvatans!

She is a beautiful soul...

...and how proud must we feel to see another Iranian transcend so many seemingly insurmountable barriers. This is perhaps why there is so much emotion and fidelity in her performances.

ه.ا. سایه

Nice performance!

by Souri on

I really enjoyed. She has a good voice.....More practice is needed in Seh-Taar yet, but it's a very beautiful performance, specially the intention is great!

Thanks for remembering Meshkaatian.
