benross I agree with your summary.
by fooladi on Wed Jul 07, 2010 08:53 AM PDTMy target was the IRI Mozdoor who used the term for specefic reason or his sheer stupidity. I suspect the latter.
Golesorkhi's "trial video", which was publicized by the islamic regime years after they had finsished massacring Golesorkhi's comrades, was a cynical attempt by the regime to slander him and the entire left movement in Iran. One must remeber that Political climate of the time when Golsorkhi was tried was very different from now. I personally think that not only Golsorkhi, but the entire Iranian left were absoloutely wrong about the political islam, and they paid dearly for their tragic misunderstanding of this essentially fascist ideology.
But , lesson learnt (at least in certain quarters....).
Shaghayegh Kamali, Beautiful, talented singer
by Maryam Hojjat on Wed Jul 07, 2010 04:38 AM PDTwas my neighber kid when I was going to college. She was so beautiful with blue eyes and curly brown hair. I heard she lives in Germany with her husband. Good luck to her singing career.
A brief clarification
by benross on Wed Jul 07, 2010 04:36 AM PDTWhy do some people love to
by Jaleho on Wed Jul 07, 2010 12:05 AM PDTmake a public ass out of themselves? It is a very curious FACT!
For those who have forgetten Iran's pre-revolution events, "Marxist-e-Islami" was a terminology that Savak and Shah used to brand revolutionaries, capture and torture them. Now this particular idiot sounds like Nasiri, the head of Savak, just before he was executed!! In fact, he seems to have learned his obvious "do zari cliche of marxist keh eslami nemisheh" from this very "too sari khordeh" master of denial:
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy8TmgZH7Xo&feature=related
Now as to the environment which created this particular "Siahkal" song, originally for the Golsorkhi and friends and their jonbesh Jangal, maybe you can listen to Golsorkhi's explanation of his type of "Islamic-marxism" and cut the cliche crap:

"Islamic_marxist"
by fooladi on Tue Jul 06, 2010 11:32 PM PDTAnybody who uses this term, must know as much about Islam as he does about Marxism, Nothing. Sounds like another islamist regime's mozdoore toole sag, yapping on this forum.
So the person who used this terminology should go and first learn about islam he is supposed to be "sarbaz" of it and then come back here for me to teach him that the first Marxist himself said :
"Religion is opium of masses."
Wonderful rendition
by Monda on Tue Jul 06, 2010 09:54 PM PDTLovely share GS jan. I'd Love to hear Kamali LIVE!
benross, it is ironic!
by Jaleho on Tue Jul 06, 2010 09:42 PM PDTI stop by to take a quick look at first page for news and top videos here.... I see "sar oomad zemestoon", a typical song that doesn't seem to be in line with ideology of people who frequent Iranian.com.... then I remember that at least there are many people who follow the "green propaganda" abuse of this original "siahkal" song where "Islamist-marxists-cherik-fadais" made but they were hated by the Shahis.....and then I see your confessed perpetual love affair with this particular song :-)
I mean, if it were that fellow who wears a Mousavi picture for his picture in here, at least I'd say the propaganda dujour is at work, but you too brutus?! But, this is a very nice rendition, so your good taste in music might worth more than your political loyalty :-)
I remeber this song from my childhood.
by fooladi on Tue Jul 06, 2010 04:39 PM PDTMy late uncle used to play it on his cassete player. It was very poular with marxists and communists. My grand mother destroyed the tape, after she heard that people were being arrested and sent to jail and worse for simply owning the cassette...
