Faramarz, interview was indeed sweet

I don't remember the covers as much as the articles. I used to read many of the sports articles. I do remember team pictures and Hejazi's "taki" pictures but have no memory of his pictures with his present wife. Yes, relationships sometimes work and it is nice to read about them.

I remember when their pictures were all over the place, one had to pause for a while and look at every detail and take them all in. The boys were all so proud of him and the girls all envious of her!

It is good to see that sometimes relationships work and love lasts and it is not only about compromise and endurance, but rather understanding and harmony.

Farmarz, I read parts of Hejazi's interview

after the link on Hejazi's blog. What a sweet interview and how interesting. Indeed, Hejazi was a great player and good looking too. Growing up, I admired the way he made his saves even though I was a Persepolis fan. Those  arms reaching for the ball. What an amazing player and great that his wife interviewed him.  One of the best interviews ever.

Monda, I was reading this passage about Nasser Hejazi the famous Iranian athlete of the 70's writen by his wife Behnaz and then saw this piece that reminded me of Reza Shah Kabiri girls of those days! This a dialogue writen by her about a few weeks ago

آری، این قصه زندگی من و ناصر است که برای اولین بار روی کاغذ می آید.

......
......

*( حسابی خنده ام گرفته و یاد یه خاطره ای می افتم که ناصر متوجه می شود و می پرسد):

چیه؟ یاد چی افتادی؟

*اتفاقی که دم دبیرستان دخترونه افتاد!( ناصر هم حسابی می خندد): آره ، تازه ازدواج کرده بودیم و من اونموقع یه بی ام و خوشگل داشتم. با هم رفتیم یه دوری بزنیم که پشت چراغ قرمز تقاطع خیابون حافظ موندیم که یه مرتبه چندتا دختر دبیرستانی شروع کردن به من فحش دادن که مرتیکه چرا ازدواج کردی؟ آخه الان موقع ازدواج کردن بود و ازاین حرفا...

*ومن اونموقع خیلی ناراحت شدم.

آره منم بهت گفتم: ول کن اینارو. همه شون دنبال شوهر هستن ولی تو یه شوهر
داری که عاشقته و تو هم حسابی از ته دل خندیدی
