Nicely Done . . .
by Nasrin Sasanpour on Tue Dec 01, 2009 12:50 PM PSTReminds one of the softness of love & longing . . . .
There is a certain melancholy quality about the whole gamut that is quite seductive.
Thank you and looking forward to more artistic explorations . . . .
The song is good
by HollyUSA on Sun Nov 29, 2009 02:03 PM PSTI liked the song and her style a lot, Kiosk-like or not. Her voice does need a bit of work though.
Video is superb. Her beauty
by vildemose on Sat Nov 28, 2009 06:36 AM PSTVideo is superb. Her beauty classic. Her voice not so much...
Not good at all
by mitra25 on Sat Nov 28, 2009 03:08 AM PSTI've always liked Luna Shad, especially because of her Esfahani-ness, but this is not good at all. She really needs to work on her voice. I don't understad why everyone is gushing over this. And the video was very simple - not in a good way. There's nothing interesting about this video. The song sounds like every other Kiosk song, who is getting VERY overrated. Did not like it at all.
nice...
by kfravon on Fri Nov 27, 2009 04:27 PM PSTnice voice, nice song, loved it...wish you the very best luna shad...
Dear Jahanshah
by R2-D2 on Fri Nov 27, 2009 04:10 PM PSTI watched the music-video, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the tune. However, I believe that Luna would benefit with a bit more voice training!
She has the potential, but as it is right now, her voice hasn't quite developed yet - Would like to wish her the best :)
very kiosk like
by hamsade ghadimi on Fri Nov 27, 2009 09:45 AM PSTi liked the song and the video. the black and white footage of my old stomping grounds makes sf look even more beautiful. kiosk people should not mold other artists to sound like themselves though. i wish her success.
I like the unpretentious quality of her voice
by Monda on Fri Nov 27, 2009 08:50 AM PSTand the subdued music going along with Her, not the other way around. I like Shad and Sobhani's interplay, it works very nicely for the listener.
The video is very nice as well.
Enjoyed it
by Sid Sarshar on Fri Nov 27, 2009 08:35 AM PSTNice song and a great video to go with it. SF streets never looked beter.
Embarrassing
by Bobby on Fri Nov 27, 2009 07:30 AM PSTPLEASE! Not another Nazanin Afshin Jam wanna be! A pretty desperate and embarrassing approach...The video is nicely done though!
Shabaneh
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Fri Nov 27, 2009 06:53 AM PSTShabaneh reminds me of Farhad: yadesh be kheir.
Koche ha barikan dokkonah bastast; Khone ha tarikan tagha shekastast; As seda oftadeh tar o kamoncheh mordeh mibaran kocheh be koche.
I liked it. It was soft
by bambi on Fri Nov 27, 2009 05:07 AM PSTI liked it. It was smooth and easy. Good luck to her.
I so much miss my real home
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Fri Nov 27, 2009 04:53 AM PSTI want to go back to my real home.
FYI/Luna Shad's interview by DK
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Nov 27, 2009 02:06 AM PSTSounds like Kiosk's band leader must have influenced her ;0)
An interview I did of Luna for PersianMirror when she was still host of the excellent Shabahang Program:
SHABAHANG'S LUNA SHAD BY DARIUS KADIVAR
All the Best in her new Career .

These days many of these artists pay out of their own pocket to make these recordings and the corresponding video. So it is nice of them to take such risks. Particularly it is nice to see a woman, as a lot of product are coming from inside Iran and they are all by male singers.-because thats what IRI's medieval law mandates -
So great, we need to see female iranians in nice videos like this filmed in San Francisco.
For her next recording, the songwriting needs to be less standard and should contain some persian or other unique elements.
Great that you have gotten started!!!!
What TV program does she present?
دست مریزاد

Beautiful
by Jahanshah Javid on Thu Nov 26, 2009 08:18 PM PSTThe song is not what you would expect to hear in Persian. But it grew on me and I loved it. And the video is exquisite.
