by Dr. Mohandes on Thu Jan 26, 2012 10:31 PM PSTWhat a Joke. So what about all the "Aghazade's" who came into this wolrd? Was it the product of some innocent Love making and letting the events taking their natural course, with "couple of wives"???
Do you even listen or rather read what you write??
Well. Here is your chance to prove us all wrong and give us indisputable evidence that such was not the case with the shia clerics. The burdenovski of proof is on you, fair and square.
Here is your chance. We think you are wrong. Shoot!

You brothers, like many others, insist on shaping Islam into an unreal figure that you can bash all the time.
This with a picture of "Ali" as your avatar! Talk about an "unreal figure" both picture and myth.

by salman farsi on Thu Jan 26, 2012 10:50 AM PSTYou brothers, like many others, insist on shaping Islam into an unreal figure that you can bash all the time. If sighe was such popular practice among Shi'a all the Shi'a's supreme clerics must have had hundreds of temporary wives and several hundred "bache sigheh - something like the Ghajaari kings used to do. In fact most of the Ghajaari prince and princesses are the result of the sigheh between their fathers and the daughter of a peasant who lived on their land or worked for them. But the Shi'a grand Ayatollahs who are supposed to set examples have rarely ever done so and they may have had a couple of wives but not tens of sighes. So you see your arguments dont stick brothers.

actually, Islam permits marriage to 9 year olds TODAY
by Fesenjoon2 on Thu Jan 26, 2012 09:53 AM PSTMarrying 9 year olds is not a thing of the age of Muhammad the womanizer. It also happens today, among his followers:

Sorry brother Salman. I just was honest
by Siavash300 on Thu Jan 26, 2012 09:54 AM PSTFirst you need to read koran very carefully. In Surat "Al Omran" said clearly that women can sell her body in exchange for money. Umar wanted to delete that part Islam. Muta or Sigheh was practiced for a while during time of Mohammad, but according to Sunni haddith Mohammad banned the practice of Muta, but according to Sheikh Colany "Osoole Kafi" Shia continued this type of prostitution till now. The funny part is no shia accept their mother, sister and family member to become victim of Sigheh, but they blindly accept it. THAT IS DOUBLE STANDARD
Seems the guy in the video was inspired by me because my love story was before this guy met that women.
But seriously brother, I was embarrassed to say some people with dark age mentality is from my country. I used to dissociate myself from them. I think you wanted my honest and true feelings so I had to disclose my true feeling toward some people like you. Just opposed to what you're thinking of embarrassment, I was pride to had such a lovely french magazine model in my arm everyday.

by Dr. Mohandes on Thu Jan 26, 2012 09:40 AM PSTal doctor val mohandesat??? And i am the one who has limited language skills? dude. Thatis plural. Would not apply in my case. Hint: I am just one person. And by the way. It WAS beating around and not about the bush. That is okay. You are cool. We like you. We understand thatyou at times have a tendency to lose it and lose it real bad:))
Likewise, i have to wonder why you are trying to avoid the subject and make an uncalled for Gorreez to Karbobala??? You got the expression wrong and i corrected you... what is with all this shah abdolazim and your favorite bookstore and all else that you used to do??? agha jan put down the boose or whatever it is that is "affecting your mind". Majboor ke nisti ke!!!
Freedom does come with its own set of responsibilities and they are very crucial ones at that too, But what GF is doing does not have to be interpreted in terms of representing the iranian womens' right by them!! agha mage zoore???
I suggest if iranian women, who happen to be their own living, breathing, intelligent human beings, decide that this is an outrageos act and no way and no how this is disrespecting to them, do the right thing, look away and change the channel to ohhh i don't know... The ashpazi program on something something shabake!!
See, that was not too hard and deserved so much hoopla!

Brother Siavash
by salman farsi on Thu Jan 26, 2012 09:20 AM PSTIs Shi'ism about shighe (mot'eh) only? So you have decreed if someone wants to be a Shi'a he or she should believe in sigheh first? Marhaba brother I didn't realise you are a Shi'a cleric too and Sahebe Fatwa!!
Where did I say I didn;t approve of sighe per se? I said it is a contract that must be held in very special and strict conditions and not to be abused by the mullahs as it has been done for decades if not for centuries. Prophet Mohammad was not a child abuser as in his days it was perfectly acceptable to have a girl of the age of nine married off to an older man (married off does not mean to have sex with - it was principally for protection and financial reasons). As it is acceptable these days to have gay marriages. You cannot judge the norm of 1400 years ago by the norms of these days.
Please let us not make this debate too personal. My wife is a moslemah and thinks along the same path that I think.
Vassalaam.

No double standard Brother Salman farsi
by Siavash300 on Thu Jan 26, 2012 09:13 AM PSTLike I said before, I am not married and my sister is married and it is up to her and her husband make a decision to apprear in the movie or not. Sure, I won't embaressed to see my sister to be famous movie star who happened to be half naked in one of her movies.
In fact,. my girl friend was posing naked in French Magazine. Her ex husband was French photographer who were using her as a model. I still have her photos in french magazine. I am not embaressed to say that was my girl friend. In fact, I feel good about it. I feel such a lovely, attractive girl happened to be in love with someone like me who shares his country (Iran) with backward and dark minded people like you. This is not meant to offend you brother, but it is my true feeling that some people have dark age mentality and claims to be from Iran. That is for sure embarressing for me to associate myself with those idiots. Hope brother Salman you don't get offended because I didn't mean to offend you. Sorry for naked truth.

Must you insist on showing off your limited language skills brother? We all know that you and we can't help you I am afarid. Those dictionaries you get your idea from i used to buy from outside "Shah-Abdol-Azim" mosque whenever I used to go for "ziarat ghoboor motebarekeh". Use this one in future and say a salvat each time you learn a new word:

My English is very poor brother but I don't ususally get the WRONG end of the stick brother doktor.

As for your logic about freedom of speech I must say I am speechless brother doktor. Freedom comes with responsiblity. Sister Golshifteh has no right to represent women of Iran by giving them an image they may not want to have. Listen to the interview with brother Ali Akbar Mahdi on the home page brother doktor. Like you he is a doktor but unlike you he is not a Mohandess :)))

sigheh and salman and child molester

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Jan 26, 2012 07:40 AM PSTThank you for your kind words and you make perfect sense to me. As you said I may not approve of something say my adult sister does. But she is her own boss and I am not. I know what it is not my business.
Just for the record I would not be embarassed in this case. Nothing about this is wrong or a big deal to me.

by Dr. Mohandes on Thu Jan 26, 2012 07:27 AM PSTI am not going to Beat AROUND (not about) the bush with you...Hmmm...kind of makes me wonder what is going in your mind tonight? Are you that Mast and Sheyda since we are going through holy days or what...???
Sound strange to me that you are trying your best to hammer the notion that some people here are resorting to double standards just because, Simply because, They are not answering your question!! as if there is any obligations whatsoever. Perhaps in your neck of the woods it is okay to accuse someone of such, simply for refusing to answer queries.
That shows me that you have absolutely no grasp on the real meaning of freedom of speech and democratic values. Yes of course there maybe some sense of embarrasment and even shame involved with such acts/actions, on some family members when your own loved one is the case in point, But would you be wise to react in a negative way? Would you perceive yourself as someone who believes in democratic values and freedom , when you find yourself confronting them in the most reactionary way?
Bear in mind that i am not Condoning such actions, But you simply could not exert any control over ones who want to do it, and would be a shallow move to change your perception of who they are and what they are about. Hence, in my view, the point you brought up about DS is totally vague and irrelevant.
Now... Did i not tell you to never buy dictionaries from Mash bagher In semsari sare kooche???!!!:)))

Brother Siavash:
" Now, Imagine your mother, sister or girl friend decided, entirely on their own, to sigheh by any mullah for 1 night, ARE YOU "PERSONALLY" HAPPY WITH THISIS DECISION? A SIMPLE YES OR NO PLEASE."
No, No, No!
Is this answer good enough? I don't approve of my mother, my sister, my daughter, my aunt, my niece, and so on to become sigheh of anybody, let alone an Akhoond, even for one second. Sigheh has to to be used under very strict rules and comitments and not the way it is abused by this regime or by the mullahs and NO I don't approve of it at all. But at least I am consistent and honest in my expression of opinion. Some of you keep going back to the question of decision and consent and all that becaue you want to avoid your double standards. On one hand you approve of sister Shifteh's act and on the other hand you do not want to admit that YOU (meaning YOU as in Siavash, VPK, etc) feel emabrrassed if your maoher, sister, daighter, aunt, and so on do the same. Stop beating about the bush and admit double standards.
Brother VPK,
Nobody demanded anything of you. You are free to answer or not but obviously you have some issues with "being questioned." Sorry brother I can't help you with that.

A very good point raised. Sister Gol-Shifteh must apologise to the decent women of Iran for misrepresneting them.

Question and Answer to Salman about Sigheh in 21 century
by Siavash300 on Wed Jan 25, 2012 06:20 PM PST"...that was 1400 years ago not today, not now, but this moment? I am talking about 21st century." Salman
If any of my family member as an adult do whatever they like to do doesn't affect me. That is their decision. If they are under age, that makes me mad and angery and I will pursue the criminal investigation.
Now, Imagine your mother, sister or girl friend decided, entirely on their own, to sigheh by any mullah for 1 night, ARE YOU "PERSONALLY" HAPPY WITH THISIS DECISION? A SIMPLE YES OR NO PLEASE.

by salman farsi on Wed Jan 25, 2012 03:04 PM PSTYou and VPK in your blind hatred of all things Islamic keep denying and avoiding the question. Nobody is tasking about who should make decision for ho. Salman's question
by Siavash300 on Wed Jan 25, 2012 02:52 PM PST"How many of you are prepared to see your wives, sisters or daughters baring thier body for the same reason sister Shifteh did? "
I am not married, so I can't say anything about being married and having wife. No daughter or son either, but I have a sister who is married and I think it is her and her husband decision if she wants to go to movie industry or some kind of art business. I can't make decision for them what to do. I think Islamic mentality is based on making decision for others. Is that right? That is why Islam is against freedom of choice and restricted people from thinking and limited their freedom.
Brother Salman, did you read what I wrote for you about prophert Mohammad was screwing 9 year old girl by the name of Aisha. Let me ask the all male on this site.
How many of you are prepared to see your 9 year old sisters or daughters marrying with a men in his 50's?
