tonight is the night I live
tonight is the night I breathe
tomorrow is sorrow
tonight is the night I kiss your lips
tonight is the night I touch your skin
tomorrow is abyss
tonight is the night I look into your eyes
tonight is the night I sing you my songs
tomorrow is deadwood
tonight is the night I hold you tight
tonight is the night I make you mine
tomorrow is ice cold
tonight is the night I forget all my dreams
tonight is the night I say hello to goodbyes
tomorrow I die with you
tonight is the night we count the stars
tonight is the night we both cry
tomorrow is too late
tomorrow is no more

Thank you
by Feshangi on Wed Mar 04, 2009 11:06 AM PSTEbi aziz I was very sorry to read about your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. It must be devastating to lose family members specially in such a short time period.
Nazy aziz thank you. it is a great and healthy philosophy to live in and for the moment. After all the present moment is the only certain thing we have. But for some of us it is easier said than done.
Azarin aziz thank you for being so nice and encouraging.
Flying Solo aziz I think Carol King is nothing short of a genius in song writing. I went through the list of the songs she has written for herself and others and could not find one that I did not love.

by Feshangi on Tue Mar 03, 2009 07:36 PM PSTThank you very much for reading my poem. i always feel that a poem is so much more personal and closeer to the writer than is prose. A poem comes from the heart and the soul. Not that I know much about this, since I am neither a writer nor a poet. This is merely an observation.

So sweet, so sad!
by Azarin Sadegh on Tue Mar 03, 2009 07:16 PM PSTDear Feshangi,
I found your poem so tender and still so harsh...so bright and passionate and still so depressing!
I hope that this "tomorrow" would never come!
