With an unusual fanfare Israel has unveiled its latest technological/military prowess in the form of the long-range Heron TP, a “jumbo” pilotless U2 type surveillance plane.
The timing and announced specifications of the drone including its operational range leaves not much to the imagination but to think of it as specifically designed to assist in tactical operations aimed at neutralizing the existential threat Israel faces coming from IRR, the Islamist Rapist Republic.
With every passing day the sane world is wasting to stand up against the clear and present danger the weaponized nuke program alongside the long-range ballistic missiles of IRR pose, the closer the Israelis will be to doing something about it.
It does not have to be so; there is a much better way to rid Iran, Iranians and the sane world of the beacon to the Islamist menaces.
The Islamist Rapists are at their weakest point; the much raped, tortured, maimed, murdered and robbed Iranian nation is at the height of its willingness to do the job, but lacks the needed open-ended support.
Airtight sanctions in the form of cutting off oil revenue in conjunction with unremittingly helping the democracy seeking Iranians with moral and material support to overthrow their murderous Islamist inquisitors is still doable. There is still time to avoid disaster. Time is of the essence.

Mardom Mazloom and Bavafa
by Fair on Mon Feb 22, 2010 09:38 PM PSTi certainly under no circumstances support war on my country, by any power, foreign or domestic. American, Iraqi, Israeli, Basiji violence against Iranians is all unacceptable to me.
I like Mardom Mazloom's point about withdrawing acceptance of the regime first, as happened with South Africa. That is the right approach, since it is being very clear and unequivocal about where the problem is- the behavior of the regime with its people. Apartheid is wrong, so is fascism, under any excuse.
With all due respect, I am not sure I understand from any of the statements you have made about Fred, that he is advocating war. Perhaps it would be best if Fred made this clear. I certainly did not see such a stance from this post here. And dear Bavafa,I certainly don't see where he is advocating the interests of Israel? All I see from what Fred writes is a person who is very upset with the IRR regime, and wants to see regime change in Iran.
Sometimes I guess we have to remind ourselves, we are all Iranians (except the stateless terrorists that frequent this website but they are on a mission for the regime, so forget about them). The more difficult times become for our country, the greater polarization we are going to see in our opinions. I truly hope that regardless of which one of us (if any) has the right answer, that our people will in the end prevail with minimum cost, and we will have government elected into and out of power by the people of Iran, not a mafia of any sort.
with respect,

by Bavafa on Mon Feb 22, 2010 06:42 PM PST"I don't see Fred calling here for "more" than sanctions, if he did that other places than that is another story. "
Most people here on IC discuss and agree/disagree in a rather civilized way when it comes to sanction or the type of sanctions. Most of those have the interest of Iran and Iranians at heart and there is nothing wrong in disagreeing with one another.
But in Fred's case, if you have followed his rhetoric, you will find that the only interest that he has in mind is of Israel and Israel only. He has openly called for the type of sanctions that would lead to war only. Now I don't know about you, but for some one to advocate to bomb the heck of my home land does offend me in the harshest possible way. If an Iranian actively campaign for Iran to be bombed, I find that person a traitor of the worse kind. I am not asking you to subscribe to my thinking but hopefully this explains why he attracts so many to rush in and expose who he really is. Incidentally, almost all of those who speak against him, are steadfastly against IRI, or at least I am in the most serious way.
Here is a post from him.

Differences between Muslims, Chrisitans & Jews
by bomannyali on Mon Feb 22, 2010 06:30 PM PSTAfter having watched the video on the "cloned goat" by Iranian scientists and after reading this question by Mola Nasreddin:
1. Do you have anything against camels? Do they give you a sense of inferiority complex?
It occured to me to write about the animals most associated with relgion.
For Hindus, it is the cow & elephant that they respect.
For Muslims, it is the lambs, cats, horses & camels that they hold dear. Camels are more popular amongst Arabs, not so popular with Persian Muslims.
For Christians of our time, they favor dogs & dogs & did I mention dogs?
For Jews, they hold apes and pigs dear. I think it has to do with some transformation or something.
THis is also backed up by literature in the scriptures.
Only I ran!
by Mola Nasredeen on Mon Feb 22, 2010 05:29 PM PST1. Do you have anything against camels? Do they give you a sense of inferiority complex?
2. Problems created by Israel in Middle East is World's problem and not just a Palestinian problem and it includes Iranian people, the ones who live there. Israel is also a problem for Americans for manipulating their political system and getting them into unwanted and unwise wars such as the war with Iraq. They are pushing USA to start a war with Iran too. You must be blind not to see it or maybe...
3. Who died to make the boss to dicatate to me where to park my camel?
Fair,
by Mardom Mazloom on Mon Feb 22, 2010 04:47 PM PSTI also think that the solution to people's problems (dictatorship in short) will come from Iranians themselves - as our brothers and sisters are now giving the high price for it. In my view, what can other countries do to help Iranians is first to not recognize mullahs and their illegitimate government. Mullahs are much more sensitive to their legitimacy than to ineffective sanctions which serve more to justify their bad economy performance. IRGC sell products that are subject to sanctions in their mafia-like black markets and are making money beside people poverty. As an example, just look at the profits they are making in selling American cigarettes.
The first action which was taken against the apartheid regime was its non-recognition around the world. When all countries agreed on that point, they then applied true measures which paralyzed the National Party government in South Africa.
I also agree on incapacitating sanctions which will TRUELY harm IRGC but they should be precisely defined and pre-conditions like what happened in South Africa must be assembled and applied before that.
"Airtight sanctions" is a general term which is meaningless and I’m afraid that blind sanctions will just harm ordinary people who are already under pressure. Other contributors had already full discussions with Mein Früd about that point but Mein Früd still sticks on his fantasy sanctions. I am among those who hate this fascist regime and all SOBs serving it more than everything else, but I also think that daily hate preaching will bring nothing less than sh#t.
Respectfully,
Look at this camel guy

Sorry, Mola, we don't care about Palestinians and Israelis. They can both go screw themselves as far as we're concerned. We will be busy in March bringing the crimes that are committed against Iranians to the attention of the world. We will leave the advocacy for Palestinians to you and other Arabs. by Fair on Mon Feb 22, 2010 01:44 PM PSTMy comment on detractors was not directed at you, since you just had a simple question regarding sanctions. But others here have been much less civilized. I see what you are saying and reading your posts I would say you have a disagreement with Fred about whether or not sanctions are the right idea. I don't see Fred calling here for "more" than sanctions, if he did that other places than that is another story.
Now I don't see why it is BS to call for sanctions. I myself am not for sanctions generally, except if it is very targeted to IRGC and specific terrorist bodies (of which many can be found in IRR). South Africa under apartheid was under sanctions and this regime is worse- had it not been for the anti Iranian regimes of China and Russia this regime would also be under sanctions. Generally I believe each case is different, and I would treat the question carefully, but the question has two sides, neither of which I would call BS.
As far as AN and confrontation, he will do that anyway, and in my opinion, after all the bloodshed and broad daylight crimes he has commited, I don't believe the Iranian people will rally around him and his fellow primates under any banner. This is not 1980, and we do not face a land invasion form Saddam Hussein, and the government in Tehran has nowhere near the base of support that it did then. And even back then, its support was based on lies, which people learned better over the years.
This is where I agree with Fred that the only way for us to get off of this one way track to self destruction is for our people to win against our oppressors.

Fair,
by Mardom Mazloom on Mon Feb 22, 2010 12:49 PM PSTI'm not Mien Früd's detractor. Mien Früd posts daily BS calling for air tight sanctions and more. I asked him simple questions:
A.N., IRGC and other IRI fascists look for a foreign confrontation to tighten their grip over Iranians - by calling for national solidarity, etc. The question is after A.N.'s last week provocation, isn't it clear that these sobs look for a war? And, why people like Mien Früd can't see that? Should people like Mien Früd continue their call for hate and war which will serve A.N. and other fascists at the end?
Instead of that, Mien Früd begun to call me and other names, like Islamist, leftist, appologist, etc. And I'm wondering why?
Dangerous Game
by Fair on Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:56 AM PSTThank you Fred for posting this nice piece. I don't know what your detractors' problems with it are. Oh wait- now I remember- you forgot to say how great Hezbollah and Khamenei and Ahmadinejad are, and swear your total allegiance to the islamic Fuehrer and say how wonderful our great military achievements are as they will scare the bejeezuz out of our "enemies". How dare you forget such essential required statements!
Fact: The road we are on today thanks to the AN and IRGC coup, is a dangerous one, whose outcome is
1)military confrontation with the US and Israel
2)massive devastation and further impoverishment and suffering of the Iranian people
3)the increased threat of separatism and breakup of Iran
No 40 year old warship, no second tail on a 40 year old plane, and no "assymetric, mosaic, sang or kashi" doctrine is going to prevent that. Iranians need to realize this, this is not cheerleading for anybody, it is just cold hard reality that is obvious.
As for non Iranians and South Lebanese and Palestinian who benefit from the above policy forced upon Iran, that is a different story. They would watch the above 3 things happen, and then claim that Iran was "victorious".
So the important question is, which country are you from, and what are you advocating here on IRANIAN.com?

Jaleho aziz,
by Mardom Mazloom on Mon Feb 22, 2010 09:24 AM PSTA.N. is the elected president of Basijs, rapists and other mercenary fascists who live to kill. Since the take over of the elections by passdarans and the re-nomination of A.N. to this post, Iran has never been so near to collapse. (economy growth ~ 0 or < 0, huge deficits, inflation ~ 40%, session, war, etc.) So, if for you, the president of a country must rule over graves, let A.N. be your beloved charlatan.
But the day will come when your beloved evils will be ousted from power, and it would be just then that reality will hurt your love for fantasy.
simple facts
by bomannyali on Mon Feb 22, 2010 09:01 AM PSTA. No war has ever been won from air strikes alone. While Iran may come short protecting its sky, Iran has boots on the ground bordering the occupied territories both from the south and the north.
B. Multi-million dollar USS Cole was declared crippled after a mission by Al Qaeda operatives blew a hole in its side off the shores of Yemen.
C. Multi- million dollar US tanks M1 Abrams were rendered useless by simple IED made over the weekend after Maghreb prayers.
D. In response to Eitan, Iran recruited 50 more Palestinians in Al Quds and provided them with essential ware needed to respond in a time and place of their own choosing. As a bonus, Iran provided them with a $50 check to purchase some blond hair dye, a yarmulke, black attire, some silly white ropes to be sticking out from their pants. They will be visiting the Western Wall to offer special prayers when Eitan is dispatched.

Try to concentrate on the upcomig revolutions: the one coming on charshanbeh souri, on Eid, on sizdeh bedar, on Jahanshah's birthday when he's uspposed to get a nice revolutionary gift....you name it, just the future ones, OK?!
I don't mind any of your revolutions, and your buddy Shifteh and Ari's petty propaganda, so far as I see Ahmadinejad as president of Iran doing what I voted him for to be doing for Iran, in particular with his nuclear team, like this one from today's news:

so were your "Persian secular friends" . Here are few examples:
1. "Most of my Persian secular democratic friends are deeply convinced that the regime is on the verge of collapse. Some of my Persian friends think the regime may even collapse soon after the anti-regime demonstrations on the 22th of Bahman, or the 11th of February."
haha, delusions even after the FACT :-)
Delusion No.2: "Many of my Jewish friends do not understand that many Persian secular democrats are friends of Israel ..."
Honey, Iranians majority HATES ISREAL as clearly expressed by their massive participation on Qods Day.
Delusion No.3: "I also ask you to understand why the Jews must support Israel's right to strike Iran's nuclear plants. This issue is a matter of Jewish survival. "
No again. NO sane Jew who is interested in Jewish survival is dumb enough to advocate a strike on Iran where a retaliation would cleanse the piss-ant Israel from the map, and by this, unlike Ahmadinejad's talk of "Israel being wiped off the historical pages", I mean "Israel being wiped off the geographical map." That would be a consequence of Israel attacking Iran, and all Israelis know that as well. That's why Israelis have been BEGGING their master US of A do the Iran attack for them.
Delusion No4. People like you think that US is actually crazy enough to attack Iran for the love of Jews. Your type of delusion forgets that Israel has been a US condom in the region for safe sex with Arab oil, and to limit the Soviet region of influence. With the disintegration of Soviet Union, already the biggest part of Israel's raison d'etre is gone, and the Israeli condom is ready to be flushed in the historical toilet, so to speak.
The only reason that the Zionist state is outliving its usefulness is the fact that poltical establishment inside the US has allowed AIPAC's influence to grow much more that it really should. That really is fast being revealed to American public as the half a century of the Zionist propaganda has to unwind. That fact is reflected by the taboo of Irsael's criticism being broken around the world and inside the US, thanks in part to great people like Ahmadinejad of Iran, Walt and Mearsheimer in the US and books like that of Carter which all became best sellers inside the US.
delusion No. 5 : "These elderly Jews are afraid that Israel will be destroyed, G-d forbid."
Your delusion No. 5 is when you say "G-d forbid" to the wise elderly Jews who know Israel is bound to death. Israel's pathetic artificial existence of 60 years is a mere historical aberration and a histrorical blink. G-d-willing, it won't last another "historical blink."

Some questions Mien Früd, please answer they are kenayeh-free:
1- Would you be happy and excited if Israel destroy Iran without being able to oust the islamist rapists out of the region? Because you know, islamist rapists will use any foreign threat to enhance their grip over iranians living in Iran. As you might have noticed last weeks A.N. have verbally threaten Israel in the hope that he and other rapists will take Israel's riposte.
2- Are you and other mien Früds are so blind to see that ? I doubt, but please convince us the opposite.
Well done Fred, as usuall
by mahmoudg on Mon Feb 22, 2010 07:38 AM PSTalthough air tight sanctions would further weaken this regime, but to reduce bloodshed the IRR would otherwise unleash, the best remedy is for a unified US/Israel surgical attaks on regime assets. End result: much less dead and the complete annihilation of the pasdars and basij who otherwise would kill and maim millions.
