I recently spent the summer in Iran and took various pictures of different events and traditions that I came across. The following set document the sacrificing of a sheep, in this case on the occasion of my cousin's wedding in Khoy, Iran. "Qorbani" is commonly offered for God's blessings. The sheep's meat and edibles are usually donated to the poor and its skin, sold.
