Just because they report suicide bombing that happens now on daily basis by Muslims and in the name of Islam? Are you denying the fact that 99.9% (Except for Tamil tigers in Sri Lanka) of all suicide attacks in the world are carried out by Muslims? Are you denying the fact that they are doing that in the name of Islam? If you are, you don’t need to listen to Bush, Cheney, Popeye, woody Woodpecker…!! Just listen to THEM. Just listen to what the Islamic fundamentals are saying. Are you asking the media not to report the facts? I think you are and that is not really surprising coming from the ultra-leftist, West bashing, IRI-Allied Iranians who for the past 50 years preached for freedom and human dignity, but with their IRI allies, destroyed our country and have been since 1979 the biggest obstacle for our people to effectively fight the barbaric regime by constantly bashing any decent Iranian voice who calls for the salvation of Iran, by calling it Pro-U.S, pro-capitalism and recently, “Neo-Con dummies”. It is not the Media that makes us feel like Monsters, it’s the Fascist Islamic mentality and groups that has plagued the Middle East since 1979 and caused nothing but death and destruction. They are the ones to blame. As far the U.S “terrorist act” in 1988: how do you justify the “terrorist and shameful act” of the 1979 hostage crisis? How do you justify the 24/7 U.S bashing, U.S flag burning, U.S foul mouthing and most importantly, working against U.S interests in the world by the fascist regime in Iran since 1979? If you are willing to tweak the definition of terrorism, it seems to me those are shameful terrorist acts too, specially the hostage taking. As far as the Israeli lobby power in the US goes, their influence has been so exaggerated by the ultra-leftist and Arab media around the world that I think the ones who are more shocked than anyone else are those lobbyists themselves! The fact of the matter is this: Many Iranians are HASOOD to what Israel, U.S and the West have accomplished. The ultra leftist and IRI united during the revolution in order to seize power. The religious forces won. The ultra leftist are so shameful and are trying so hard to justify their traitorous acts during the revolution that they have found the way to blame everything on the West, specially the U.S. The have another goal in mind which is hijacking the struggle between the people and government in Iran, as in 1979, to seize power this time. As an Iranian, I denounce any war on the Iranian people by anyone. However, I believe the parties responsible for any war on Iran, are the IRI who has been oppressing its own people in the name of anti-imperialism and anti-U.S for close to 30 years now and are engaging in stand off against the U.S for absolutely no benefit to the Iranian people (If there were benefits, I would’ve supported it ) and just for the purpose for gaining recognition and support among young un-Iranian Muslims around the world to serve their interest, and the ultra-leftist Iranians (Some of them are very vocal in this site) who justify the acts of this barbaric regime and makes the world lose sympathy for us.

i am an american muslim. my parents are form pakistan. i was in n.j. during the 9/11 attack my uncle worked in the 2 tawer. he is alive. i wear a hijab to school. people are surprized when i say i speak 7 different languages. arabic, sindi, hindi, urdo, english, spanish, and i am still learning persian. my father lived in iran during the revelation. when i finish college i want to go to iran and rase a family there. i have a spiritual relationship with iran even thought i have never been there. did you know that not 1 suicide bomber has been shia. yet when people see me wear a hijab they began to move there children away from me. i am shia i come straight down from the holy family of mohammad pbuh.

Thank you for the kind and supportive words. I think people of Iranian origin need to speak up more frequently. In America, we are a small minority but one that is educated, accomplished and well integrated. I found the two articles you recommended to be very informative. It is nice to read your views and I hope other well-informed enlightened people look at your example and speak their views.

I am still puzzled by how Israel and the Jewish community manage to have such a strong grip on America and its politics. The beauty of it -from their perspective- is that they pull everyone's strings from behind the scenes. Except for a few openly pro-Israel law makers who are publically vocal, others in congress seem to know what is expected of them and deliver without much public fanfare. That is amazing to me. I need to do more research into the subject. You are right on with the notion that the military complex and Israel's hegemony are in effect the main foreign policy objectives of this administration. What happened to the higher ideals?

Let us keep the faith because Iran will come through at the end; as it has for so many centuries and despite having so many enemies. I realize it is in fashion to say that sons and daughters of Iran do not care about her but history has proven over and over again that our people will rise to defend our identity and our country with thier flesh and blood. We may be beaten back and slaughtered at times but we persevere and rise in defense of our motherland by overcoming adversity. Take care and write often.

Its all about oil, U.S. Hegemony and Israeli interest

The U.S. and western powers are going after Iran; in the same way they went after Iraq, because of oil and their hegemonic desires to control the Middle East. After the lies and deceptions that led this country towards a war with Iraq, the Bush Administration and VP Cheney are using the same lies, to mislead the American people once again. The issue has nothing to do with Iran acquiring nuclear weapons. The head of the IAEA said that with all of the investigation, they have not discovered a nuclear weapons program in Iran. However, the U.S. and France are telling El Baradei to keep out of politics, because they know better!! Like they knew better when they attacked Iraq based on some phony documents, and pictures.

The U.S. needs to churn its huge military industrial complex and needs wars and instability. The more chaos the better for the U.S. and of course Israel, who wishes nothing more than to see the Middle Eastern countries broken into small states, so that they don't pose an existential threat to Israel!

Dear Pasargade thank you for bringing up the Iran Air passenger carrier which was brought down by the Vincennes and how the U.S. allowed several Israelis to return back to Israel right after 9/11. How about the fact that the U.S. remained silent when Israeli fighter jets hit the U.S. war ship U.S.S. Liberty off the coast of Lebanon, killing American marines?? What did the U.S. do? Nothing? Israel is always off the hook! But not Iran!! Iran is blamed for everything under sun, and all with absolutely not one single fact or evidence.

I say it is time to impeach Bush and Cheney. They are the real war criminals and terrorists.

Pretext to War

To emergency_denier: Well said....Every war needs a pretext. Coming from oil and engergy background, Dick and George made their plans soon after taking power in 2000. There is money to be made in war and their families and business collegues could benefit immensely by having access and control over the one area in the world with the highest deposits of fossile fuels. The pretext was 9/11 just as Gulf of Tonkin was the pretext for the Vietnam war. For those who have not heard of that incident, in 1964 US navy claimed that Demcratic Republic of Vietnam had attached two US navy ships in the Gulf of Tonkin thus getting the congress to pass a reolution giving Johnson effective authority to go to war. That claim was later proved to be a lie just as the claim that a bunch of hillibilly Arabs with Mossavi/Reed (a.k.a.) shoe-bomber level IQ planned, funded and carried out the 9/11 attacks in perfect percision on their own!!!  I saw the video of US spy drone going into the Pentagon and studied the collapse of building 7 at ground zero. I can not concieve of any scenario where building 7 should have collapsed in the manner it did; except from internal implosion, just as it appeared.

9/11 an Inside Job?

On 10/14/2007 there was an article in New York Times which states that the Qwest phone company's former chairman has submitted documents to court indicating that 7 MONTHS BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, NSA had been forcing his company and other phone co's to intercept phone calls without court warrent. This along with all other evidence that we know exists adds another interesting angel to the suspecious that in fact US Government KNEW OR PLANNED (or both) the attacks of 9/11. Another interesting angel that has not received much attention was reported by Carl Cameron at the time I think with a local TV station in NYC and now a reporter with with FOX. In that report he stated LIVE on 9/11, a few hours after the attacks) that 15 (don't recall the exact number now may be 16) Israeli nationals who were working as truck drivers and elivery men in NYC were caught by police (tipped by an old woman neighbor) who were tape recording the 9/11 attacks. When the video tapes were confiscated and played by police, police noticed that the recording has actually started 5 minutes or so BEFORE THE FIRST PLANE ATTACK. While there are still hundreds in jails in NYC on supecision, from the 9/11 days, such as for expired visas, etc. these Israelis were let go back to Israel after only a week or so in jail. Peter Jennings followed up with that story on ABC and asked Dick Chaney's office why these Israelis were let go? The office of the VP said, "their mothers in Tel Aviv were missing them and wanted them back"!!! and so we released them!!!!
Folks, I am sure there are more documented evidence that indicate role and/or knowledge of US government and the Israleis in 9/11. Lets share and discuss. But please no made up stories. Lets go with documented and reliable sources.
