[I hope this becomes a great lesson for all the sick perverted Moslem and Iranian men who are Bache baaz!!!]

Woow dude, you really went over the deep end with this one. Just FYI, I did see the original broadcast of the show. There were 5 or 6 other guys trapped in the same show which were not all Iranian/Americans. This one happened to be an Iranian who is a criminal and you are extrapolating it over entire Muslim and Iranian population.

Statistically, Iranian Americans are among the most law abiding minorities in this nation. You can not blames entire group of people for criminal acts of one person. You saying this is just like saying all Italians are criminals because there are Mafia members that are Italian.

Under which rock do you live dude? How do you live with this much hate inside you?

I am glad he got caught.

by Anonymous321321 (not verified) on

I'm glad they caught the bastard. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. For all of you who are mad about him loosing his reputation by this post; he didn't have one to begin with. His family should be humiliated, and so does him. I am glad that this is posted here to show everyone: masjed jaye goozidan nist!

very wrong!

by Anonymous-kaveh (not verified) on

I don't agree with showing him in TV and also posting this video clip here on Iranian.com. Punishment for him yes, disgracing and humiliating him in public is not right, it does not matter who he is and what he has done.

I couldn't watch it. I know

by Anonymous22 (not verified) on

I couldn't watch it. I know the guy needs to go to jail. I don't like the TV show aspect of it. Does it mention that he is iranian? That creates unnecessary stigma for other iranians. This is why I dislike all this TV mentality in the US of making a show out of everything.
It is also interesting to read the comments. Everyone agrees that the guy diserves jail or punishment. What I find annoying is that when there are articles about public hangins and stoning inside Iran of innocent people that were probably framed, not all comments seam to be so in accordance and homogeneously unisone.

Why?!

by Az (not verified) on

I completely agree with Daruish…even though I do not approve what he has done, I disapprove the way he is caught and what you have done. What is the point of posting him in the Iranian of the day section? I am sure his family and friends are embarrassed enough by the fact this has happened, so there is no need to publicize this and make them more embarrassed!!

I dissaprove of the method used in his arrest.

by Darius Kadivar on

Even if I don't approve of the guy's pedophilia, I dissaprove of the method of his arrest using a TV show to ambush him.

It really like if it were a scene out of a George Orwell's 1984 story with BIG BROTHER watching you and telling you what is good and what is bad. This is like public lynching in the Wild Wild West. More recently Steven Spielberg made a very insightful film called minority report:

I don't think such methods truly serve justice! And the day such shows commit the slightest mistake on the person accused of the crime in question it will backfire on the entire judiciary system. In addition video and audio tapes for instance are not considered as pieces of judiciary evidence in many other Judiciary's like France and that no matter appalling or obvious in form and content Particularly because it could have been edited in such a way to suggest the guilt without proving it. So the judgmental aspect makes the evidence biaised in form no matter how much one can dissaprove of the crime itself, justice must remain objective and impartial in order to deliver the most balanced judgment.

Otherwise it becomes just another form of morbid voyeurism ... which I am not certain will decrease the rate of pedophilia ( sexual abuse of minors/children) in society for that matter.

I should report that to the police ;)

Afarin aali gofti!!

Obviously there are so many child predators in the U.S that there is a special TV show just about those of them who lure young kids in chatrooms. Now, ONE of them happens to be an Iranian. And we have to publish his name all over the place and call him "IRANIAN OF THE DAY" on "IRANIAN.com"!!

But when a Hollywood movie such as "300" comes out, we all start whining and screaming and signing petitions about Americans not honoring our pure Aryan race!

Mr. Lakani is absolutely right!

by concerned (not verified) on

Most humiliating and disgusting this was.

There's a show on TV called Snapped. Once, roaming the channels, I came across it with an Iranian name in the description. If I remember correctly, the girl had managed to kill her ex-boyfriend's fiance. After she was caught, it came to light that this was not her first act of murder. A few years back, an ex-boyfriend of hers was murdered. Turns out she had committed that one too. This SHE was a college educated woman too!

We never think of ourselves as bad seeds; but we're out there like any other culture has its bad seeds, abnormalities, etc.

If we do not face them, our children are at risk. Talk to them!! Really talk to them. It is the only way to best prepare them for the world they shall grow in.

by sbglobe on

I did not want to watch this clip (and I did not) regardless of where this guy is from - I am just glad that he got cut! Not sure what you are complaining about Mr. Ali – would that do if there are many many comments saying “yes this is indeed embarrassing”? In any case, I do not think these people do these acts because “we do not like to talk about sex” but because they are sickOs.

Pretend you didn't see this!

by Ali Lakani on

This IS embarrassing and humiliating.

If this clip was about an Iranian who had won an award, there would be tens of comments about it by now.  But instead of accepting that bad things happen inside the Iranian community, too, and discussing the social malady of child sexual abuse,  people just pretend like they didn't see this clip and this news.

Of course, what can we say?  We don't like to talk about sex.  And we can't face the fact that this guy looks so normal, and he could be someone's son and nephew and brother in our community.

Well, when we don't talk about sex among ourselves and to our children, this kind of thing could happen.  Wake up, smell the coffee, and sit down to talk about what needs to be talked about, people.
