I am not ashamed of who I am. Do I condemn the IRI babarism: absolutely. Do I think that is a reflection on Iranian people: no I don't.

We are all people and human beings follow similar patterns. The problem with Iran is that we got sold a false bill of good. For generation cynical clerics have been filling hears and heads of otherwise good people with Islamic nonsense. In 1979 people once again fell for a lot of lies by Khomeini. If he had told them what he really planned he would have never got the chance. This sort of barbarism is very much like:

• What happened in the West with Christianity a few hundred years ago. 
• Or in the 20th century Germans were fed a different set of BS and that led to genocide.
• In fact this kind of BS is going on today in the USA. Just watch Fox. I assure you if Glenn Beck gets his way we will see similar things happen here.

Anyway, I agree with Fatollah that we will get rid of IRI some day soon. But stupidity is a part of human nature and IRI or not it is both in and out of Iran.

How can a country with such a beautiful language do such horrific acts to their mothers, to their wives, to their daughters? Have they no shame, or is it because they follow what pride lets them follow? Is it because they have fear of being alone, or being abandoned by the beauty of thier lives? Only men who fear could do such a thing to the ones who bring them into this world, the ones who will take care of them when they are old, and to the ones who will be the wives of their sons. Please put down your stone, leave your pride and go with what your heart tells you to do. There are no reasons that could possibly justify this horrific treatment of those who you love, or who love you.

1) Please fix your post. It is messed up.

2) Your reasoning is based on assumptions. As you said this is good enough to start a police investigation for sure. I would say there is "opportunity" and "motive" for a crime. But it is not proof. This definitely falls way short of a conviction. You need to have real proof before any reasonable person would convict her. There is a very good chance no real proof will be found. Do you agree she should go free if that happens?

may be a small victory. If they replace stoning to hanging it is hardly a big win. The trick is to get her released not just "not stoned". Illicit relationships should cost no more than public scorn. No legal punishment should ever be given for what she was charged with.

To think how far Iran rulers have devolved since the Shah. What a shame.Now there are still those who complain about Shah and support the IRI: shameful.

Woman convicted of adultery will not be stoned to death...

The world spoke out against the barbaric sentence for an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery, and it seems Iran has listened.

"She will not be executed by stoning punishment," the Iranian embassy said in a statement to London's Channel 4 news Thursday, commenting on reports that Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani would be stoned to death for "illicit relationships" conducted after the death of her husband.

I agree it is very serious so I removed my post. I do not take the actions of IRI lightly. Sometimes things are so bad you need to laugh just to keep your sanity.

I have done everything I could to oppose it.  I signed petitions and made phone calls; etc. It is actually very unbelievable that anyone would actually stone people. 

It is almost that AN & Khamenei are trying to destroy Islam. Their actions turn people away from Islam which is fine by me. No person could do more to ruin Islam than these. Who in their right mind wants a government that stones people? Who wants a terrorist government that chums up to Hizbolah & Hamas while killing Iranians. 

I tell you if people had the least idea of this they would never have replace the Shah. Now the real nature of Islam is out there for everyone to see. I like to hear someone tell me this. How should anyone embrace this death cult so called religion.

According to VOA, the foriegn minister of Canada has issued a statement urging IRI to stop the palanned execution of Muhammad Reza Haddaadi, and Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani (by stoning).

No crime deserves this punishment

Even a murderer does not deserve this type of barbaric punishment. I wonder what type of a creature stands there and throw stones to a human being. Those who participate in stoning should be identified and punished by the people.
