Babak K. YOU ARE WAY OFF MAN
by SOS-FREE-IRAN on Sat Mar 19, 2011 03:43 PM PDTMan, what's with you? You sound like a radical hypocrite. Our King was being attacked from all sides by the Jewish British Islamic Terrorists. Instead of supporting him, you are attacking him and now his son?
Shame on you man. Your comments are irrelevant, show ignorance. Our king was a secular democrat. His son, Reza Pahlavi is a secular democrate, a patriot and lover of Iran.
Get your head out of the sand...
Our King was right. He was under attack by a bunch of mercenaries (beevatan), led by Mr. Khomeini and other mercenaries.

Mash Ghassem already beat me on that topic of Shah's SAVAK and ahmadinezhad's Hojjatieh common roots, ideology and hatred for anything secular, let alone democratic.
All I want to say here is that one single hair of any of the 80 plus brave prisoners murdered only three days ago, back in Iran, by the Fascist islamist regime's prison guards, during their failed uprising is worth more than the clown "prince", all the money stolen by his daddy, and his US funded interviewer duo.

Fussy Gorilla: Russian revolution was a war on Christian Tzar
by SOS-FREE-IRAN on Sat Mar 19, 2011 02:10 PM PDTThe Tsar was a christian, who forbid the jews to participate in his government. The jews took their revenge and spread blood libel about him to overthrow the monarchy, then murdered everyone in his family and started a holocaust on russian christians and non-jewish russians. The Jewish Bolsheviks led by Lenin and Stalin (both jews) began an ethnic cleansing program -in Russia where they massacred and starved all dissidents and all Chrisitan russian peasants - they killed 10 million russian peasants and took their lands. So, the Tsar's problem: the jews. These jews came back and took vengenous at all cost.
On the other hand our King, was benevolent to the Jews and all religious grous but it was not enough for the greedy Jewish and British Islamic bastards, since they are just like the British insatiable vampires.

by shahabshahab on Sat Mar 19, 2011 12:35 PM PDTI am not pro Shah or anything like that. But by putting this man on the spot and by quoting the Jomhouri Eslami as your source, you showed that EITHER you are absolutely an idiot and not knowledgebale about what happened in the last 30 years, OR you did this on purpose to make him look as if his father stole money. Either way, I have lost my faith in you.
You may be funny at times. I give you that. In fact, you were doing pretty well until you brought a few people like this man (Pahlavi) and Hassan daie and unnecessarily made them look bad. You have no idea how much better our country would have been if the Jomhorri Eslami, which you quote a lot had not come to power.
You lost a golden opportunity Kambiz! Perhaps you can make amends in a fture episode by being impartial.

1. Nokolai the second was a lot gentler dictator than Stalin was, however the reason for Communists to come to power in Russia was the Zsar Nicoli's dictorship and the abandenment of the 1905 Russian constitution. Khomeini was a ture AHREEMAN and criminal and it was the Pahalvi estebdad that brought him to power althlough Shah was a lot gentler than criminal and murderer Khomeini.
2. It was shah who called his opponents Beevatan and he himself became a beevatan. When shah was losing power he said that" I heard the voice of your revlution" he should have said that a lot sooner not when he was in deep S....
3. Mr Pahlavi is errelevant to the events in Iran, and he has become a distraction for our democratic movement and a clown for Slatanat-talab circles.
4. He says these things because he is not in power, as you can see no dictator in Middle East is willing to let go of the power they hold. They most be kicked out of these countries as you can witness in the Middle East. As Reza Shah and his son were kicked out and as Mobarak and Ben Ali experienced the same faith, or they are not going do better than Anvar Sadat or Saddam Hussein.
5. We do not want to talk about the past dictators, becuse we have a better and important thing to do and that is to bring democracy to Iran, but our Slatant-talab friends want to create the distraction and they never give up.

Different world from Cold War Era, different Iran from 20th
by Mash Ghasem on Sat Mar 19, 2011 05:40 AM PDTcentury politics and culture.
Just in case no one has noticed, US has established two, not one, but two Islamic Republics right next to Iran , in Iraq and Afghanistan.
All corporate, mainstream media and "think-tanks" have their money on the Greens. During 20th century Monarchy in Iran was used as a tool by Brits and US against Soviets. Times have changed.
In a post IR Iran, Pahlavi has as much a chance for a restoration as the Ghajar had in 1940's, NONE.
Say hello to Contemporary Iranian Social Movements, the true engines of change, since 32 years ago, and even before ...
On Democracy ... different cultures different outlooks ...
by Darius Kadivar on Sat Mar 19, 2011 05:11 AM PDTThe IRI and the Revolution that brought it to being are filled with so much inner contradictions that it has lost all credibility in the face of history. It will definitively not go down in history as the French Revolution it hoped to emulate:
SOURCES OF FURY:Nader Naderpour on origins of IRI's "Death Slogans" towards US and Israel
particularly in it's violence:
HISTORY OF VIOLENCE: IRI's Reign of Terror Begins (BBC Report 1979)
VIRTUE IN TERROR: Maximilien Robespierre and the Reign of Terror (BBC)
Yet I think We Iranians are actually much closer to the British ( which we tend to hate so much) or even the Spanish both of whom restored their monarchy after a disastrous experience with Republicanism:
HISTORY FORUM: How Truly Democratic is The British Monarchy ?
Viva España, Viva El Rey !!
Which does not mean that we do not see the benefits of democracy but we know that our identity is too interconnected culturally and psychologically with the Royal Institution and concept of Kingship which has strongly defined our identity and how we collectively see ourselves as a nation.
A Restoration of the 1906 Constitution amended and updated so as to respond to the democratic aspirations which inspired our forefathers can put the country back on the right track again after this disastrous interruption of 30 years which only aimed at cheating the people from DAY ONE:
Khomeini: No Monarchy
pictory: Bakhtiar Denounces Bazargan's Provisionary Government in exile (1979)
Mehdi Bazargan and the controversial legacy of Iran's Islamic intellectual movement
Constitutionalism is all about implementing democratic and even Republican concept of statesmanship and self governance by the people but within a Royal Framework. Once people understand this much of the misconceptions linked to the idea of Restoring the Monarchy in Iran will be lifted because the goal is not to restore a dictatorship but a Parliamentary Democracy.
I humbly but Firmly believe that Constitutionalism is the Key to Iran's ills:
HISTORY FORUM: Nader Naderpour on Iran's Constitutional Revolution and European Rennaissance (1996)
CONSTITUTIONALIST FORUM: Daryoush Homayoun Political and Journalistic life Honored in Germany
We have nothing less that the Europeans be it the Swedish or Dutch or British or Spanish to understand the benefits of such a compromise and system of government.
Sweden by the way Tops all other nations in the World in the 2010 democracy Index:
Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index 2010 (PHOTOS)
Yet unlike the Pahlavis who are native Iranian neither their dynasty is genuinely Swedish since their ancestor Bernadotte who founded the dynasty was a French Import:
Charles XIV John of Sweden ( originally a French General by the name of Jean Bernadotte who was born in Pau France)
Persian Carpet Gift to Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria and Husband
But in addition Ironically he was one of Napoleon's generals and ex revolutionaries who is said to have tatooed on his chest : "Death to the King" which the current Swedish historians claim he actually had "Death to the Tyrant" tatooed in reference to Robespierre's Reign of Terror.
House of Bernadotte - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As for Spain which in my opinion is closer as a country and culture to us given that they too were invaded by the Arabs ( Moors ) and are a hot blooded nation like us :
HISTORY FORUM: Franco's Ghost- Spain's Painful Road Towards National Reconciliation
With an ambivalent relationship with their own Royal Heritage:
THE SUN ALSO RISES: Shah of Iran and Queen Soraya visit Franco's Spain (1957)
Well for your information again unlike Our Crown Prince, Juan Carlos was not even born in his country but in ROME, Italy.
So you see in the end of the day it's all about flexibility. If we ever hope to achieve democracy we need to learn to compromise and co exist with our strengths and contradictions for the superior interests of the nation at large.
More than anything democracy exists and survives due to collective wisdom of it's people and a mutual understanding that a Constitution is first and foremost a contract between the People and the governing body:
HISTORY OF IDEAS: Constitutional Government In Locke's Second Treatise (Yale University)
This remains true whether you live in a Republic :
EMPIRE OF THE MIND: The Greeks - Crucible of Civilization narrated by Liam Neeson (PBS-1999)
RESTORATION: Greek Constitutional Monarchy Toppled by Military Coup (April 21st, 1967)
RESTORATION: King Simeon II of Bulgaria, The Republican Prince
or a Monarchy:
Morocco's King Mohammed VI pledges constitutional reform
pictory: Crown Prince of Morroco (Today King Mohammad VI) at Iranian Embassy (1977)
ROYAL FORUM: Explaining the Concept of a Constitutional Monarchy to a Staunch Republican
But without a Flexible mind as Nader Naderpour clearly explained in the above link (and which I encourage all to watch again by repeating it below) we will continue to be an uncivilized and stubborn lot with no hope of seeing the emergence of a Persian Rennaissance which could get us out of the Middle Ages:
HISTORY FORUM: Nader Naderpour on Iran's Constitutional Revolution and European Rennaissance (1996)
As such the best and shortest root to reach a satisfactory solution to our current situation is to respond COLLECTIVELY and regardless of our ideological, philisophical or political preferences to Reza's Call:
REZA's CALL
: An Iranian Solidarnosc... by DKRESPONDING TO REZA's CALL: An Iranian Solidarnosc in the Making ... by DK
Anything short of that will only be a waste of time and allowing the IRI to gain time to organize it's survival.
So it is never late to Join the WINDS OF CHANGE in order to Save Our Country:
Farrokhzad sings Padeshah inTribute to Reza Shah Dovom
If He Understood it:
Farrokhzad Harfe Tarikhi.wmv
And paid the ultimate price for it.
SARBAZ: Fereidoun Farrokhzad helps child soldiers of Iran Iraq War
Then we have No Excuse not to ! Specifically if we are lucky to live in the Diaspora.
My Humble Opinion, DK

Shahzadeh Reza Pahlavi
by Simorgh5555 on Sat Mar 19, 2011 03:05 AM PDTThe interviewer is extremely impertinent by not addressing him by his full name 'Shahzadeh'. Whether you are a supporter of the monarch or not that is his official titl. Iran and the monarch are inextricably intertwined. Iran needs a stable constitututional monarchy which Shahzadeh talked about as it is aunifying figure.
It is a fact: Monarchies are more stronger and healthier governments than their republic counterparts. The most successful and progressive governments in Western Europe and the Persian Gulf Arab states are monarchies. Compare that to the sea of corrupt and dysfunctional republics in Europe and the former tin pot ex-Soviet Republics. They are total failure.
The Islamic Republic is an example of a republic experiment gone bad. Iran's prestiege, national pride and the sheer respect it generated fom the word 'Persian' were all thanks to monarchies.
Shahzadeh Reza Pahlavi should not only not be ashamed about advocating a monarchy but he should be more forceful and show the irrefutable fact that Republic will not work in Iran. He should also make the case for Iran to be liberated by force of action. Shahzade's biggest flaw is that he is still peddling this civil disobedience rubbish to appease the most dumbest amongst our people who still believe in dialogue with the IR monsters.
The time has come for the restoration of a monarchy and for Iranians to reclaim their glorious past and be proud to be Iranian.
Take your republics and shove it where the sun does not shine!
Monarchy is the only solution. Javid Shah.
Death to the Islamic Republic.

Nothing. I thought so. Not even from the point of view of a woman living in Iran. As I said before you have the privilege of not haiving to wear a hijab in the street and millions of women in Iran wish that they can have the very freedom you take for granted.
Put it this way: Over thirty years ago you were living in Iran. You are now living in the USA or Canada, I presume? That says a lot about your standard of living you enjoyed under the former regime and the regime in Iran now.
