Al Jazeera: Two days of talks between Iran and six world powers have failed to break the standoff over Iran's nuclear programme as it becomes apparent there are serious obstacles to an agreement. At the heart of it is an attempt by the US and other world powers to persuade Iran to accept immediate restrictions on its nuclear programme. So what's next in the standoff between Washington and Tehran? Guests: Lawrence Korb, Trita Parsi, Hooman Majid.

Something YOU can do to help prevent an Israeli attack on Iran
by Divest from War pledge ca... on Thu May 31, 2012 11:10 PM PDTIf you are looking forward to bombs falling on Tehran, this post is not for you.
If your hatred of the Islamic Republic is stronger than your compassion for the people of Iran, then you can skip this post.
But if you are worried about an Israeli attack on Iran starting yet another war in the Middle East, then please sign the pledge to boycott Israel if it starts a preemptive war with Iran.
By (nonviolently) increasing the cost of starting a war, we can help to prevent it:
//www.divestfromwar.org/
And after you sign, PLEASE spread the word to people who know and trust you.
Thanks in advance

You are clinging to this victim mentality where you perceive every slight, every misfortune, and every ingrown hair to some vast conspiracy where Israelis are the perpetrators.
People like you cannot be convinced otherwise, or cured. You are sentenced to live out your life blaming everyone else but never holding yourself accountable. And it is this mentality that has condemned Iran to be under the thumbs of these wannabe Arabs that you worship so much.

All efforts are aimed to overthrown mullahs, to send them to the dumpster of history. Mullahs have to go back to mosques and cemetaries where they belong to. That is very simple to comprehend. I am surprised you don't catch the concept.

Iranians care about Iran. Joo-hatred has exceeded its shelf life
by AMIR1973 on Fri May 25, 2012 03:08 PM PDTThe usual IRI tactic of trying to divert Iranians' attention to worthless Israel-Palestine conflict will not work. Iranians care about Iran and do not share the pathological Joo-hatred of the West-residing, multiple user ID Groupies and those who have been murdering and torturing Iranians for the past 33 years. No, No. It ain't gonna work. Just sayin'.....

by masoudA on Fri May 25, 2012 11:35 AM PDTIf it was not for his dubious appearances on Iranian.com - and threads and posts on IC that no longer have names - This TP character would be totally disconnected with Iranian/Americans.
But I must thank IC - everytime TP or bozos like Majd appear here it brings the best out of the best members here. I did not know Majd has fully moved to Tehran...but I do guarantee you, he can't and won't go out in the streets without proper change of face. TP on the other hand, smartly keeps a minimum distance of one mile from thye nearest Iranian here in America...and I don't blame him.
As for the talks....guys, they are making arses out of USA and Iran. The sanctions are very neccessary so Euro Royals and Tritas bosses can keep buying our oil at $5/barrel.

Iran and it's dictates have reached deaf ears, that's the inside scoup they think that this is just another sit down and that they can push back by thinking mistakenly that this is not a united international or UN initiative.
Despite already feeling real pressure economically and each day that increases exponentially, they are thinking they can take the lead. This is a very dangerous mistake, the window of opportunity is reaching a fast close because of their dragging of feet.
Their resistance was not expected it only proves that they are not feeling the certainty of their dilemma. Time is running out, if military action breaks out the protracted war that they invision will not be as they think.
Military action will be comprehensive, complete, short and furious. They just don't get it, they don't have any appreciation for peace or the well being of their people! It's a theocratic dictatorship with out any sophistication. They will have to reverse course in a hurry now, as stated time is running out.

Equating the sentiment behind Nationalization of oil by a democratic leader Mosadegh which was all to the advantage of the Iranian people to IR's gaining nukes is one of the dirtiest lies that has been fed to the Iranians and foreigners alike. "Thought" has a good point
by Siavash300 on Fri May 25, 2012 10:55 AM PDT"Thought shouts THINK as thought works only through logic. The invisible hands had planned to fail any negotiations before it began" thought
The invisible hands are the cry of mothers whose loved ones were excuted and buried in the middle of night in cemetary of Behesht e Zahra in UNmarked mass graves.
The invisible hands are the voice of those parents whose virgin daughters were being raped the night before their execution by mullahs in Evin prison.
The invisible hands are the cry of million Iranians who were suffered by Islamic devil for 32 years.
The invisible hands are the cry of those women who sell their bodies to survive because of the hell mullahs made for them.
The invisible hands are the messages of our dear sister NEDA, TARANEH MOUSAVI, Our brave brother SOHRAB.
The invisible hands are the loud voice of Nasrin Sootodeh from Evin Prison.
These invisible hands are about to bring down the Islamic devil very soon. I am sure it won't take that long. We all will see it soon. Mullahs must go....and they will soon. We are getting close.
BTW,
Iran is different with mullahs. The only people who makes such a mistake are those who has a good life in west. They may make a trip to Iran every now and then. They are happy they don't live in Iran. They don't care what happens to their country men/women inside Iran as long as they're immune from stinky ruling mullahs.
Don't be one of them. Iran and mullahs are 2 different things. They don't go together.
