Photo essay: The American dream in Weiser, Idaho

by Jahanshah Javid
This is my last night in Weiser, Idaho. I'll be driving towards Yellowstone National Park in the morning, unless I find something interesting along the way. Here's my report on life in Weiser:

* Photo essays in this series: Part 1: "Land of the Free"; Part 2: "Liberty Street"; Part 3: "Wild Wild West"; Part 4: "Cowboys & Iranians"; Part 5: "Prisoners of Persia" Part 6: "Taking Jesus by the Horns" Part 7: "Love of Liberty".

JJ do you have any real friends?

by Marjan Zahed Kindersley on

By that I mean, real friends, who have your welfare at their heart.

I don't just mean the self-blah blahs, fawning pests, but lib4 whatever the name of the file is truly disgusting.

That isn't food.

Admittedly, the onlytime I've ballooned has been when on pain meds, but what you "eat" is disgusting.

That isn't food. Really, Iranians in rural areas, wouldn't touch such garbage.

That isn't food.

not just about enjoying freedom

Well said JJ... wishing you peace and calm anywhere you are.

Monda, I'm not sure why... freedom is a state of mind not a country. Being in the U.S. is not just about enjoying freedom. I just feel more relaxed when I'm traveling outside the U.S.

I don't have to live in the U.S. to enjoy the freedom that an American passport gives :)

76 is great!

re your #78: then why have you opted to live outside of US? if i may ask?
