The Iranian music band, The Dang Show, will make its debut appearance in San Francisco, presented by Bamahang Productions on Sunday, April 3, 2011 in two shows at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Yoshi’s, 1330 Fillmore at Eddy. I had a chance to chat with Samad Taleghani, a founding member of the band about the band, their music, and their future plans. If you live in San Diego, catch them on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sherwood Auditorium, 700 Prospect Street La Jolla. I am off to go do a bunch of things and end up at Yoshi's for the show tonight. I look forward to seeing Abtin and Monda for sure, and we will think of you Jahanshah Jan, jaat khaali khahad bood! I am proud that San Francisco is turning out to see the debut show of the Dang Show, to support new artists and new presentations of music.
