Alborzi: You are right. In fact there so many people who are living a Hollywood life style in Iran.

These sanctions are deemed to crunch the huge deals of $US 20 million or more only.
.
And the travel restrictions do not work.
.
So we can only assume, that this is just a precursor to a more comprehensive action to be taken later, to stop huge military purchases. And the Chinese arms companies are being watched very closely now.

Its not that bad

Last year, I was in Iran and aside from their inflation, the economy seemed fine. The shops were full of merchandise and the last thing on their mind was the embargo. In fact it
seemed the embargo has forced them to be more self sufficient.
