A lesson in restraint: What China tells us about Iran - The Washington Post

I read these articles and some history comes to mind - a history that most people do not know.
Once upon a time
The Chinese, Jews and Iranians have a very long history that predates all known religions. The Jews were saved by Cyrus the Great, and they in turn have fought for Iranians:
"According to Roman historians the Jews, who had all along harbored a deep grudge against the Christians and the Romans, had joined the Iranian forces and thus got a chance to avenge themselves. The Jews were allowed to plunder the city. They destroyed the churches, burnt the grave of Jesus Christ, massacred many Christians and took some thirty thousand as slaves. The Holy Cross on which Jesus was crucified was removed and handed over to the Iranian commander."

The Chinese helped Iranian Princes to settle there:
"The emperor then picked up the boy Pirooz and embraced and kissed him on the cheeks. He said: "You've come a long way. Have no more fears. For you are my brother and this is your new home." With tears in his eyes, Pirooz knelt again and thanked the emperor. The emperor then allowed Pirooz and his people to settle in 38 villages and rebuild their communities. They were allowed to set up a mini royal court in exile."

Later the Iranian spirit grew in the Mongul Princes who cleared out Islam and brought back Persian art that was preserved in the Tang Dynasty.

Chinese and Jewish Generals at War
So the question that comes to mind, is why do these two great ancient people now want to fight Iranians? They don't. The trade that US does via China is being fueled by Iranian oil, and the US companies have no interest in anything but profit. The Chinese generals want to spar with the Jewish generals, to seek arms businesses. Netanyahu of Israel needs to keep his authority by constantly scaring his own people by making the small force of IRGC look threatening, and the same is true of its counterpart He Ping of PLA in China.
