I don't think show throwing has any particular meaning in our culture.

He'll probably be hidden from everyone and we may not even see his limousine but let's bring shoes and have shoe throwing contests to keep us busy!

We don't know how long we have to wait there and this can be a good way to pass time and show our disapproval like the Iraqi shoe thrower did to Bush.

So I think if we feel so inclined, we should be calling and making our protests about their decision to have a psychopathic murderer as their guest. 

Perhaps any would be shoe throwers will have an opportunity here. 

Personally I hope someone throws something a little heavier than a shoe.
