Nowruz Coming to Chicago, according to Brian Foster:

The magnificent city of Chicago is starting to get ready for Spring and the celebration of Nowruz! In every house the annual spring cleaning is taking place, sweets and flowers are being purchased, new garments and gifts are being gathered, the enchanting Nowruz spread (The haft-seen) is being assembled, and the city is slowly coming back to life after a long gloomy winter.

As we countdown to this magical time of year begins and we eagerly wait for nature to rejuvenate, the Chicago Nowruz Parade (CNP) is thrilled to inform you that the biggest and the most elaborate and miraculous celebration of Nowruz will be held on March 31st right here in downtown Chicago.
