2 photos from Lake Urmia (Oroomieh Lake) in your blog really got my attention, especially Osman Fist....absolutely gorgeous.. thank you for sharing!....so I read about Lake Urmia last nite....the interesting things are that Lake Urmia is the largest lake in Middle East, 3rd largest salt lake in the world......it is UNESCO Biosphere reserve...the lake is loaded with salt and minerals.....the salt can cure rheumatism.......the sad part is that the lake is drying up and disappearing........the salt lake is gradually turning into a salt desert! Animals like beautiful flamingoes are losing their habitats! The Lake Urmia got neglected......I am not too surprised 'cause mullahs neglect a lot of important issues!

Samsam Jaan - As you know, the true Iranian culture

is a culture of happiness and celebration, the evidence of which is Mehregaan, Sadeh, Norouz, etc... As opposed to the post Islamic culture which changed that happy, forward looking society into a culture of mourning, crying, "too sar zani", "rozeh khooni" and other sad events.  I try to stay true to our original culture.

I don't know if there's a link to Bergen uni. it could just be a URL thing.  I found the photos elsewhere.
