Expecting from life perfection of school,

My friend, is like milking the bull !

For most people ignore the Golden Rule!

Which is my translation of this Omar Khayyam's famous robaii.

انانکه بکارعقل درمیکوشند     افسوس که جمله گاونرمیدوشند

ان به که لباس ابلهی درپوشند      کامروز بعقل تره می نفروشند

Indeed, this is a crucial political juncture for change in both countries. In Iran, what, is this the third opportunity for the people to rise up? .... Are they going to be crushed by the Russian and Chinese-made WMD? It is hard to be optimistic these days:-(

منو یاد داستان "شیخ صنعان" سعیدی سیر جانی انداخت. اونجا هم یک "قدرت خانوم" بود که شیخ در پی فتح قلب و چیزهای دیگرش بود .
اینجا اندازه کافی مطلب داری برای یک سری کامل داستانهای عاشقانه، میشه
اسمشو گذشت مثلا "عشق سوزناک شیطون کوچیکه و شیطون بزرگه"، احیانا یه چکه
"ساوت پارک" هم قاطیش کنی!

jirandoust: Absolutely! Fear of attack by foreigners keeps both Iranians and Americans from attending to their respective political ills. The IRI has the Doshman boogeyman the U.S. version of which is "terrorists." Oddly, some on both sides who are quite aware that their country's problems are internal still fall for the old Looloo mikhoreh  trick that we're supposed to outgrow in kindergarten.
