The Counterfeiters workshop in Sachsenhausen

In Autumn 1942, the SS concentration camp in Sachsenhausen setup a secret print shop. Main and most successful enterprises in the counterfeiting workshop was the production of counterfeit English banknotes and stamps. One of the stamps that they did counterfeit is very interesting, since it is about the allies meeting in Tehran in 1943.

Very interesting Item. I know that the Nazis were also comploting to kill the Big Three in Tehran but the plan aborted. They also hoped to find out about the Operation Fortitude which was drafted in Tehran and which was outlining the D-Day Operations to liberate Europe and the Famous D-Day Battle on the Beaches of Normandy.

A film was made on this failed operation called Tehran 43 with Alain Delon and Russian Actors:

Also the Japanese did a similar work on American Bank notes which they hoped to flood the American market with in a bid to create an inflation in American economy. The Americans found out and the bills were identified.
