Those were the days, Citroen 2CV, Peugeot 403, Volkswagen Beetle, MG MGB, BMW 1500, Porsche 356 C, Mercedes 230-SL ... They had something called soul, spirit and style. Today's cars? All the same piece of plastics.

من یادم میاد سال ١٣٥٨  یه ژیان صفر کیلومتر از یک نمایشگاه خریدم ٢٥,١٠٠  تومن.

 فاصله زمانی بین وقتی که وارد نمایشگاه شدم و گفتم «صبح بخیر  آقای اسکویی»  تا وقتی که استارت زدم و از پارکینگ نمایشگاه رفتم بیرون ( با احتساب وقتی که تلفن  زدم به خانومم که پول نقد ورداره و بیاد نمایشگاه که تو همسایگی مون بود) ؟  ٣٨ دقیقه!

ضمناً یادآوری کنم که من داشتم پیاده میرفتم سر خیابون نون بربری تازه بخرم برای صبحونه!

 بربری  داغ رو با ماشین نو آوردم خونه!

مدتها این شده بود اسباب خنده خونواده که........مجید رو واسه خرید جایی نفرستین.......... :-)

This is great! I have great memories of both the Jian and the Mahari!

I don't know whether you have seen this, but here's Citroen's announcement of their "new" products in Iran, and some pretty nostalgic brochures and photographs. I stumbled upon this link last year when I was trying to show my sons the car their father and I had gotten married in, a blue Jian!
