How did you come up with your conclusion? Why do you have hatred toward Iranian Jews and Bahais? It seems to me they have a legitimate complain about not being able to attend the universities. Why do you address them in such hostile manner. They are Iranians after all and you should treat them with respect which they deserve. Freedom and a civil society starts with us and no one else. May be you should learn something from American and Canadian friends.

Please read the last 28 years' "news" about the targeted persecution of Bahais. Please read about the recent resurgence of Hojjati secret society that was formed decades ago solely for the elimination of Bahais in Iran. Before any wholesale generalization of Bahais as just another persecuted group, do find out why the Mullahs see the Bahais as such a direct threat to their existance and their brand of "Islam"...and before you use any of the tired old Daie Jaan Napoleon fantasy/conspiracy theory against Bahais, try to state just ONE documented and credible FACT that can in ANY way explain why the British would aid Bahais; if The Bahais have been afforded any preferance to escape persecution after the revolution, that is soley because of the united effort the 5 to 6 million Bahais world wide who FYI are mostly non Iranian.

Bahais have always been singled out by the fanatical shia clergy; under the Qajars, The Pahlavis or at present, the Bahais have never been afforded any official rights.

History will show that they have been the most united body of people in the face of brutal treatment to defame and break their spirit.

Their very record of steadfast, quitedignity and firm allegiance to their Faith and principles, refusing to recant their belief that God has sent a new messenger with poerful message to uplift and unite all mankind, not te least to restore Iran the Glorious influence it once was to the ancient world.

What's more is that finally the people of Iran who have for so long gullibly believed in the lies and conjured up fallacies of "HajAghas", are finally seeing the light for themselves. Further, fellow Iranians who are seeing the injustices (//newsinitiative.org/story/2007/07/23/persian...) towards their Bahai neigbours, colleagues and classmates are alas raising their voices in defence.
I pray and hope for the day when We as ONE nation can raise our heads and stand up for injustice against any minority.
The burning questions for any one who is interested in the future of our homeland should be:
exactly what do the Bahais believe? In all their faith,resilience,brave and proud response in face of over hundred years of calumny and cruel treatment, What exactly is their agenda? and why are the All powerful Shia leadership so afraid of only 300,000 Baha'is who have had no legal or civil rights for three decades; of people who have absolutely no interest in any kind of partisan political activity or ambition? could it be that, Perhaps the morally and spiritually bankrupt Ayatollahs are deeply and secretly frightened by what the Iranian Masses are daily learning through satellite ( //www.bahairadio.org) and //www.bahaiview.org ) internet Baha'i sources about not just Bahai teachings but its hopes and aspirations, especially with regard to what Baha'u'llah has prophesied about the future of Iran...and that is an Iran freed from the "paralysing influence of an antiquated clergy".

One way or another when they graduate they end up leaving the country anyway (brain drain) so makes no difference at the end of the day.

I doubt you have substanitiate evidences for such claims. Iranians regardless of their religion always tend to blame their failure on others.

You think if you are Muslim you can go to Universities in Iran because you are a Muslim? The entrance exams are tough and anyone has chance of failure.

We will never be able to give credit to Iranians based on "DIVISION" regardless of Kurds, Fars, Turk, Bahahi, Zoroasterians and whatever else. We should only talk collectively what can we do to be united. Bahai's have so much support from the British that many of them were able to get out of Iran, while Muslim Iranians are there suffering.

So, unless you can show solid evidences beyond the shadow of the doubt we will have a hard time to believe you.

And guess what? I am not a Muslim so don't get a heart attack thinking that this is voice of Islam.

Too much rumors and speculation and not a damn action because people are so paranoid about each other.

Another Tragedy For Iranian People

I am baffled as what this regime is all about. What are they trying to accomplish in the long run. How would actions such as these helps Iranian people in any sort of way.
