by Brian Appleton on Wed Dec 29, 2010 07:39 PM PSTI have been subjected to so many trolls on Iranian.com that I tend to be defensive...you sound really nice..."God is Love for sure!!!" and some of the most ethical and moral people I know are agnostics ;0)

by yolanda on Wed Dec 29, 2010 02:54 PM PSTHi! Mr. $$$$,
Enjoy your vacation!
Here is the definition for persophile.......it is a beautiful word:
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persophile
Rasoul jaan, relax please! You misunderstood me.
by Jonny Dollar on Wed Dec 29, 2010 02:26 PM PSTYou wrote ......"persophile...." i couldn't find the meaning in the dictionary and asked you what it meant which you never answered. Also, i was confused about the two names, since i don't know anyone with two last names. it does not make a defifference to me what anyone's religion. What matters to me how good a person they are.
Religion is not supposed to be worn on person's forehead, but it should show on his/her behavior. There are many ways to reach the same destination, some more scenic than others.
My family always say that IRI is not islam, it is disgrace to islam. As for me I have yet to find a religion that is better than islam that is why despite my family being christian, I have not converted, although i am an agnostic. Peace!

by Darius Kadivar on Wed Dec 29, 2010 01:01 AM PSTNice Experience Brian aka Rassool.
Last time I rode one was at my Community School in Shiraz for guess what ? Holloween.
I guess it was equally strange and interesting to celebrate Holloween in Shiraz as it was for you to ride a Camel in California. ;0)
Great Photo.

PS: It's not Tony Blair's Wife but Sister in law who converted to Islam.
I just don't understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape?
by Brian Appleton on Tue Dec 28, 2010 10:11 PM PSTI spent 4 hours live on Markazi TV the other night and 90% of the callers who were Moslem said how much they liked American freedom and wanted to know why I had converted to Islam as if the IRI and Islam are synonymous...baba joon we have freedom of religion remember? Did you hear that Tony Blair's wife had a religious experience while in Iran and converted to Islam? Anyway my reasons are personal...

by Brian Appleton on Tue Dec 28, 2010 09:13 PM PSTI am an American writer, Persophile, who was given the name Rasool Aryadust when he converted to Islam in 1975 at the Tehran Rotary Club on the occasion of his engagment to a young flower of Persia...so I use it as my nom de plume....

California camels
by Brian Appleton on Tue Dec 28, 2010 08:41 PM PSTJust go to the Living Desert outdoor zoo in Palm Desert which has a great fauna and flora collection from deserts all around the world and you will find Fred and Greg for $5.00 per ride. It is for little kids really, i.e. getting strapped in....but I think that camel treks in the California desert would be a great business op for some enterprising outfitter...
all the best,

by yolanda on Tue Dec 28, 2010 08:11 PM PSTI went to Palm Spring before......maybe I missed Fred.....What is the exact location of Fred? How much per hour to ride the camel?
Hi Mr. Dollar,
LOL! I think it is better to concentrate on Iran and Iranians when we visit IC, right? It is bad to talk about just me me me......it sounds self-centered and self-promoting! :O)
take care!
P.S. You are right God is love!
Re: Brian, Yolanda "jaan" is not an Iranian, she just love us!
by Jonny Dollar on Tue Dec 28, 2010 06:45 PM PSTDon't you Yolanda? She is also very smart since she has never revealed anything about her background which is fine, since we love her just the way she is.
"God is love!"
Hi Yolanda jaan, you can
by Brian Appleton on Tue Dec 28, 2010 06:12 PM PSTHi Yolanda jaan,
you can ride on Fred the camel anytime you find yourself in Palm Desert... ;0) He also has a brother named Greg with big hair!
How to make a camel angry!
by comrade on Tue Dec 28, 2010 05:37 PM PSTIf you are up for a wild ride, take Fred to the nuke site.
