Like most recent ex-presidents, good old George is planning to establish his
own library. Therefore, "The George W. Bush Presidential Library" is
now in the planning stages and accepting donations. The Library will
include:

-The Hurricane Katrina Room, which is still under construction.

-The Alberto Gonzales Room, where you won't be able to remember anything.

-The Texas Air National Guard Room, where you don't even have to show up.

-The Walter Reed Hospital Room, where they won't let you in.

-The Guantanamo Bay Room, where they won't let you out.

-The Weapons of Mass Destruction Room, which no one will be able to find.

-The National Debt Room, which will be huge and has no ceiling.

-The Tax Cut Room, with entry only to the wealthy.

-The Economy Room, which will be in the toilet.

-The Iraq War Room. (After you complete your first visit, they will make you go back for a second, third, fourth, and sometimes fifth visit.)

-The Dick Cheney Room, in the famous undisclosed location, complete with shotgun gallery.

-The Environmental Conservation Room, which will remian empty.

-The Gift Shop, where you can buy an election.

-The Men's Room, where you can meet some of your favourite Republican Senators.

-The Decider Room, complete with dart board, magic 8-ball, Ouija board, dice, coins, and straws.

The library will feature an electron microscope to help you locate and view the President's accomplishments.

The library will also include many famous quotes by George W. Bush, like:

-'The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country.'

-'If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure.'

-'Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.'

-'No senior citizen should ever have to choose between prescription drugs and medicine.'

-'I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change.'

-'One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'.'

-'Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things.'

-'I have made good judgements in the past. I have made good judgements in

the future.'

-'The future will be better tomorrow.'

-'We're have the best educated American people in the world.'

-'One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures.' (during an education photo-op)

-'Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it.'

-'We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur.'

-'It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.'

-'I stand by all the misstatements that I've made.'

PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!

You know what is sad? Laura Bush was a librarian.

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be married to the jackass of the library. The one who probably copies the books for term papers and so on.

But then again, that's the price you pay to marry into aristocracy. I can't wait for her "memoirs". Gag me.... blech. "George and I always felt it was important for the country to read."

Do you know what this sick duo did? Yes I include Laura. In year 2000, they paraded around with Teach for America. They boasted about how they wanted to support it, expand it and so on. It was supposed to be part of their education plan - a good idea actually.

Then Mr. Bush comes to office illegally and what do you think he did? slash slash slash teach for america, teach for america jobs, money etc....

Sad. I don't sense much respect for teaching, books, academia by this family at all, much less as a president.

A presidential library? What for? donate that money for charity, for foster kids who you say are so special and deserve good homes.

GREAT job.

Thanks... I really enjoyed this.  I hope we'll see more from you.  I LOVE sarcastic wit...lol

Actually I've got some donations to the library.  The complete "Dick and Jane" series, "Highlight" magazine from 1960 to 1967, and my personal favorite... the Dr. Seuss beginner books.

Bush CAN read, can't he?  But maybe that's not a requirement to have your own library.... :-)

Bush's role in Republican re-grouping?

by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on

They blame the RINO's and all these others. But the President hasn't done anything wrong it seems. Rush Limbaugh, Hannity.... they don't complain about this train wreck of a president. Why? Because Conservativism is wrong and does not work. It is founded in rhetoric, and it's not any Congressperson's fault. I can't wait for the cannibalism to start though - including the great number of R's who come out and bash bush for destroying them. Haha!

This was funny. Thanks.
