In past few months, despite my hectic schedule, including but not limited to teaching, family matters, business that I am trying to save form bankruptcy[Thank you conservatives and Bushies], writing [something to be desired] I have been deeply involved in following some dog and pony show called US politics.
Not that I wish to get into analyzing the later, for which there are gazillion of commentators at hand, form left to right to ultra left to ultra right, to even Tea Partiers[aka TeaBaggers].
What I like to do is to write a few measly lines on what I have seen/read/observed throughout the comments and the threads that I have, ever so carefully scanned, in past two days in this very site of Iranian.com.
Due respect to everyone’s points of views and convictions, chastise me as you wish as much as you like[like I care], but are WE ever going to EVOLVE from this staled state of mind of attacking whomever that has a different view from us OR have we PROGRESSED enough to sit down, set aside our TALKING points, put our gray matters together and come up with a unified voice that can be lend to our brothers and sisters in Iran?

Dear Capt
by amirkabear4u on Tue Mar 02, 2010 07:01 AM PSTIt all depends what is in their hearts.
If you notice people who follow a skill or art meaningfully they tend to have more respect to other peoples' arts too. But those who are just doing it for passing time, in other words amateurs, then they have no respect for other arts. Anyway this is how I noticed.
In regards to politics, it is the art of dealing with masses. This maybe one reason why some people do not respect other peoples views as they are just party talking.
