Niloufar, which one of the statements is NOT TRUE - TELL ME.

Third world reference is used by first world to characterize many aspects of countries such as Iran...Yes, the west is imperialistic, yes they take advantage of others ONLY when others allow them, and so on and so forth. By the way, your beloved so called socialistic countries are no better than the west. You're just too much of a hypocrit to admit it.BUT – in our case, we are our own worst enemies. No body forces us to be untruthful to each other, to lie to each other, to take advantage of each other and to practice fraudulent transactions when it comes to commerce. We do it to ourselves. My anger as you call it is due to that. Iran could be the jewel of the Middle East instead of a pariah state that it is now. As for my “purpose” and motive, I can only point out to your posts.

To be fair the points only apply to IRI. There are many other 3rd world nations which are not this way.

In fact in our glorious history these actions have been going on longer than Islam. 

You all know I often criticize IRI. However the Sassanids leaders also did some very questionable stuff. Much of these things are rooted in us. We need to change ourselves to change Iran. I think we are on our way. My own recent experience with Iranians both inside and outside Iran has been really good. I hope this will continue. Maybe it takes a lot of being beaten up to get our acts together.

Well we have gotten a very good beating. I hope our acts are getting together now.

whatever you think i stand for, i assure you, i also hurt deep inside whenever i hear of such stories. i know sometimes i go too far with 'defending' the regime, but it's not based on any disregard for human rights. there is a difficult balance to be struck. am still searching for it.

Thank you for a clear response. I have been occupied with other matters recently. I have found some interesting documents regarding the events of 1954 and am working on that. If I get anything of importance I will post it when ready. That is why I missed the blog on socialism.

Taken April 2003 about 2-3 PM in the afternoon by myself. The magnificant road that connects Karadj to Chaloos is full of beautiful scenery with towering mountains and picturesque villages. Unfortunately, due to ignorance of the people and neglect of the government, the amount of trash and crap on the side of the road is shamefully high. You can also spot graffitti on the jersey barrier to the lower right of the photo.

This is not siah bisheh but one of the many turns.

Siah bisheh is now a much more busier "turn" with more businesses and cafes.  This is one of the many turns in Chaoloos road, I don't know which one but very close to Kandovon tunnel.

گوگل مپ رو نگاه کردم و به نظر میاد این عکس نزدیکی‌های ده خوزن کلها (قبل از سد کرج) در جاده چلوسه.  اشتباه کرده بودم.  دفعهٔ پیش که ایران بودم اینجا رو در راه کلاردشت دیدم.

Between Gach Sar (Hotel Gachsar on Karaj River) and Kandowan tunnel, there are 2, 180-degree turns on the road ( Highway #59). The picture is the second one. That's why I think this is Siah Bisheh.
