Taylor was a good friend of Iran's US Ambassador Ardeshir Zahedi whom she courted for a brief period in the 1970's shortly after her divorce with Richard Burton. Legend say's that Cleopatra, hid herself in a Persian carpet and it was presented to Caesar by one of her servants. When she rolled out of the carpet, Caesar was charmed.
