Omid Dajili is funny .. ..
by javaneh29 on Mon May 10, 2010 10:09 AM PDTOmid Dajili is funny .. .. although perhaps you have to understand the history and Brit sense of humour to appreciate him in these particular sketches.
Its kinda of funny because at first the Brits didnt 'get him' at all although now he on our tv screens everynight in commercials and his popularity has grown from there.
Another up and coming comedian here is another Iranian called Keyvan Novak AKA facejacker or fonejacker. who is, if you like that kind of humour, very funny indeed.

thanks for the clips
by humanbeing on Mon May 10, 2010 05:17 AM PDTas for the last clip in the comment, it brought to mind pabst's kameradschaft. there's a famous scene in the shower, but it's more confusing, because it's got motifs of reconciliation in it. worth a try, sargord.

This is supposed to be
by Sargord Pirouz on Mon May 10, 2010 04:33 AM PDTThis is supposed to be funny? An Iranian guy talking in street jive as Henry VIII?
You know, German jews, dressed up as nazi officers in "Hogan's Heroes," performed great comedy.
This Iranian guy isn't even worth the time I've taken to comment.
