Reza Pahlavi Submits Demand for Ali Khamenei’s Indictment to UN Security Council

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran submitted a report to the United Nations Security Council accusing the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, of ordering crimes against humanity.

Washington, DC – January 24, 2012 – Reza Pahlavi of Iran today submitted a report to the United Nations Security Council accusing the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, of ordering crimes against humanity.
The filing, “Report on Crimes Against Humanity Committed in Iran on the Orders of Mr. Ali Khamenei – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, focuses on the crimes against humanity committed to suppress popular dissent after President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad’s fraudulent re-election in June 2009.
The report contains sufficient evidence for the United Nations Security Council to take up this matter immediately and promptly refer it to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Reza Pahlavi commented: “For the past thirty-three years, the so–called Supreme Leaders of the Islamic Republic implemented a policy of oppression against ethnic communities and religious minorities.
And the historical record testifies to these facts. Today, I call on the Heads of State and Governments of member countries of the Security Council to refer these crimes to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with Article 13 (b) of the Rome Statute, for a full investigation of the crimes committed by leaders of the Islamic Republic against Iranian civilians.”
“The people of Iran have suffered far too long. Today they need help and support from the international community,” Reza Pahlavi continued.
“I, therefore, urge all who cherish justice around the world to take action now and demand their respective governments - particularly those members of the United Nations Security Council - to take affirmative and immediate action on this complaint.”
Reza Pahlavi intends to file further supporting documentation regarding the abuses of Iranian citizens and will summarize these crimes in future reports.

Briefly.
Neither of the two generals had any power, or authority whatsoever, once the military operation, supported by the Americans (thx forever), had ended. It was the so-called Croatian military police that took over. Bunch of petty criminals who burnt Serbian houses and killed the inocent Serbian elderlies.
Had Croatia prosecuted the scumbags on time, the two generals would never had ended in prison. For they bear no responsibility for what had happened after the military operation in Krajina. The operation itself was clean and it was justified.
As for Tudjman, I never liked him. His beating of the war drums only helped Milošević. The one from Bosnia, Izetbegović, happily stepped in. Together, they robbed me of what I had once called my country. May they rot in hell, all 3 of them.
Must stop now, otherwise, will go into ranting. ;o))

If Croatia had reacted on time, ie. had prosecuted those responsible for war crimes, neither of the two would've ended in prison. But Tudjman and his clique of "professional patriots" never allowed it.
If anything, he should've ended in the Hague. He was lucky to have died before the Hague got him.
PS. honestly I hated his guts.

Officials in Libya have said that the trial of ex-leader Muammar Gaddafi's son, Saif al-Islam, has been postponed.
The attorney general's office said the decision was made in the light of the extradition to Libya of Gaddafi's former spy chief, Abdullah al-Senussi.

CNN) -- Mass killings and torture have become "the norm" in Syria, and rapes and sexual violence against women, men and children are being reported, the United Nations human rights chief said Monday.
With 2.5 million people in urgent need of humanitarian assistance and the government showing no sign of halting the violence, it's time for the case to go to the International Criminal Court, Navi Pillay said.
"A referral will make it abundantly clear to all actors in Syria that they will not escape justice and will be held accountable for alleged violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law," said Pillay, reiterating her previous call for the ICC to be involved.
