Phil bears a resemblance to the last Shah of Iran (Really ? Or So claims Tony Soprano), leading to Tony Soprano and his family often referring to him as "The Shah". Phil expressed dislike for the nickname.

The Sopranos: Phil Leotardo is the Shah of “Eye Ran”:

Philip "Phil" Leotardo, played by actor Frank Vincent, is acharacter in The Sopranos. He was originally a captain within the Lupertazzi Crime Family, butfollowing the death of the original Boss, Carmine Lupertazzi, the imprisonment and death of his successor Johnny Sacramoni and a briefpower struggle with would-be boss Faustino "Doc" Santoro, Phil became the Boss of the Family. Phil was married to Patty Leotardo and was asecond cousin of Marie Spatafore. Phil bears a resemblance to the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi ( Or So Claims Tony Soprano), leading to Tony Soprano and his family often referring to him as "The Shah". Phil expressed dislike for the nickname.

Character Bio:

Phil Leotardo was part of the "Mafia Class" that was released from prison in 2004.After spending twenty years in prison as a result of the Rico trials, he becamea major player working under John Sacramoni and was responsible for many deathsof rival gang members. He often would work with his brother Billy Leotardo.When Tony Blundetto retaliated Phil's younger brother for killing Angelo Garepe, it nearly set off a war between the New York and New Jersey organizations. Phil swore revenge for his brother, and when Tony wouldn't let him, a lot of animosity was built between them. After Johnny Sack was incarcerated, he became Acting Boss for the New York Family. Phil remained a hard and ruthless leader. After his cousin Vito Spatafore was outed as a homosexual, he broke off all ties with him and once again nearly stared a war with The New Jersey family as made it his own personal vendetta to have Vito killed. As things heated up, Phil suffered a heart attack prompting Tony and Phil to stop their fighting Phil claimed after his heart surgery that he was no longer interested in being the boss of Brooklyn, but when Johnny Sack passed away, Phil's old habits kicked back and through force, he took over and became the official boss. With complete disregard for previous business with New Jersey, Phil's new policies resulted in violence once again, causing Phil to sanction and hit on Tony and all of his top advisors. After some successes and some failures, Phil's top advisor Butchie betrays him and tells Tony of Phil's whereabouts.

سریالِ سوپرانو یکی‌ از بهترین‌ها در خودش بود،ما از تلویزیون بیزاریم هر چند که برایِ این دنیا کار می‌کنیم اما این سریال را دنبال کردیم و هر چند که ما را تا به آخر راضی‌ نکرد اما جالب بود.
