VEVAK ( IRI's Secret Services) denounced in French Book To be Released in April
by Darius Kadivar
23-Feb-2009

A Controversial Bookabout the Iranian Secret Services VEVAK (Which Replaced the SAVAK) as well as their methods is to be released in France. The author is Yves Bonnet a Former Head of France's Secret Services.

The Book will be soon available in April  here on amazon.fr

Up to Readers to draw their own conclusions some of which I believe are not revelations to most Iranians but on the otherhand the author's personal sympathy and connections with the MKO do raise questions in regard to his sources but also intentions. Given that in the Spy World I am personally more interested in the intentions behind such a publications by People in the Secret Services more than the revelations however interesting and sometimes eye opening. One should always read in between the lines. My Humble Opinion or rather initial reaction to this upcoming publication despite my Profound Dislike of the IRI and its cruel nature and that of the VEVAK whose methods are of little secret to most us Iranians as testified in the videos below:

Part II

If this book can draw attention on French and international readers on the reality of the cruel nature of the Islamic Republic's Secret Police All the Better.

In anycase below is a notice on the author and a brief summary of the books review in french magazine Le Figaro of today.

NOTICE: The author Yves Bonnet however has friendly links with the MKO which he has written about in sympathetic terms in a former book co authored with an MKO member Mehdi Abrichamtchi on this Terrorist Organization which he has Lobbied in France and at The European Parliament as Freedom Fighters overlooking the cult nature of this organization which recently was removed from the EU Terror list amidst Protests in the Iranian Diaspora.

Short English Translation:

Bonnet Unviels the hidden side of Iran's Secret Services

In a book by the former head of the DST (Direction de la Securite du Territoire) aka The French CIA, Yves Bonnet describes the methods of the VEVAK and its cruel methods. Described as one of the most horrendous secret services at the service of an absolute state of suppression and elimination. He also claims that the Secret Service was created upon the ruins of the SAVAK which was formerly trained by the CIA and the Israeli Mossad.

Dariush jaan, VAVAK has made SS and Gestapo look like Angels!! Only one day that truth will come out and the world will see what horrible crimes against our people were committed by this regime.

I’m glad that this book is coming out. Maybe this is a starting point for the world to start waking up to the reality of the IRI regime.

Thanks for posting this piece Dariush jaan. I urge you to post it on other sites too.

Je vous en prie!

And here's a petite douceur for you: I found this on L'Express magazine website. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the khomeinist revolution, another exclusive interview of Reza Dovom on the nuclear issue and his analysis of the situation is quite good (from my gharbi and secular point of view of course) :
