Yves Montand Sings Les Feuilles Mortes aka The Autumn Leaves

I watched them all...  Merylin Monroe's my heart belongs... was especially cool, nice video clips! I guess I would have liked them even more if I weren't at work... :0)

Good suggestion, I think we should ask Monika Jalili to come up with a version in Farsi ;0)

The Pleasure is Mine.

As you know Marylin Monroe and Montand also played in a Hollywood movie and had a relation. Its not the Best Monroe Movie nor the Best Montand Performance but kinda cute and some of Monroes most famous songs are in this film ( My Heart Belongs to Daddy, ) :

Curiously Marilyn later married John DiMaggio a Baseball Champ who looked very much like Montand.

i knew it was not a haji firozeh since the face was not painted black. i thought it was a cute picture of your son. now i know it was a cute picture of your self. so, if i am correct, in the picture, you would be the younger of the two brothers. thank you for the english version. do you also have a iranian version we could listen to? ;-)

OOPS!

I am so sorry DK jan, I can hardly see the avatars they are so small on my screen (or I have a bad eye-sight) I didn't mean disrespect at all.

I saw white beard and a red hat and I just... oh nevermind... I embarrassed myself enough!

Thanks for the occasional videos you're posting. I love french chasons.

Thanks DK!

I had not heard Yves Montand in years!

DK jan on Firefox, your own picture is very nice, although using IE, the silly one with Haji Firooz costume was still showing.

Very nice song, beautiful words, especially the sad truth:

merci

Darius Jan:

Thank you for this post. I think songs tend to find a special place in our hearts given the circumstances upon which they enter our souls.

The following song is forever etched in my memory:
