Dubbed the 'Caspian Sea Monster' by the CIA, the Russian KM Ekranoplan must surely be one of the most weird machines in military history. Weighing in at a massive 540 tons fully loaded, and capable of travelling at 250 mph, the Ekranoplan travelled just feet above the water's surface, but could in theory travel over land, ice or snow.
