Protesters Dress-Up and Sing 'Bomb Bomb Iran'. At the Republican National Convention in St Paul, protestors march around singing the song quipped by McCain to the tune of 'Barbara Ann'.

by americanwife (not verified) on Thu Sep 04, 2008 04:31 PM PDTYes, I agree. Whatever the point, it's tacky to the max. When I protest, the meaning is perfectly clear...lol.
Well, I might just have to re-register. I got my panties in a wad about two weeks ago and canceled my account. Being unverified means limited access/capabilites. And as so many before me have said, one just can't stay away.
I LOVE being an American wife to my Iranian husband. We've been married for almost 8 years and share three boys between us. I'd like to think my steps are as fond of me as I am of them. My son (in the middle) has ALWAYS referred to the youngest as his brother. I wept with pride when I overheard him telling someone "when you mess with my brother, you mess with me".
IC is like any other family...you fuss and fight but at the end of the day, you still love them and wouldn't trade them for the world.
Dear American Wife..
by darius on Thu Sep 04, 2008 02:25 PM PDTMy guess is as good as yours. But then by looking at the video ,I see
females are wearing fake p..... and one individual wearing a Nazi uniform. That tells me, they are sort of criticizing MacCain 's policy toward Iran and his machoism. The protesters could be eihter Ron Paul's supporter for the Republic ,Democrats or Anarchist .
Do I sound right? Regardless of who he did it ,I found it tasteless .
By the way my wife is American too, we have been married for 23
years and we have 8 yrs old son .Its good to see you here showing
interest .
Cheers
got it:
by americanwife (not verified) on Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:25 AM PDTDude... I can SEE all that. What I don't get is "the point". Are they making fun of McClueless? Are they anti-Iran or anti-WAR ON IRAN? Are they protesting him or supporting the song? Yes, I know I'm just an ignorant American, but I just don't get their point. And yes, it's definitely a phallic symbol...lol. Again, not sure of the point of ANY of it. Maybe too early in the morning for me. Haven't finished my Coke yet.
Baba,....Take a closer look!
by Reza K. (not verified) on Wed Sep 03, 2008 08:17 PM PDTThey have make-shift penises!
Look closely at the first two seconds of the clip.
It can't be serious!
What is there not to get?
by Got it (not verified) on Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:37 PM PDTA bunch of men/women have dressed outragiously. The colors are the colors of American flag. They all are wearing some kind of sword or object hanging in front of them, maybe a phalic symbol. Its happening on the streets of where the republican party has a convention. They are singing a song reminding of what McCain sang: bomb, bomb Iran. The funniest part is the heavy set woman who is seen at the final seconds of the clip dressed as Hitler. It's funny, very funny.

by americanwife (not verified) on Wed Sep 03, 2008 11:14 AM PDTI'm with you... I totally don't get it. If they are protesting what McClueless said and I'm going to think very positively that that was their intention, well, it simply missed the boat. The costumes were... well, just plain weird. Strange, vedy strange.
huh?
by Reza K. (not verified) on Wed Sep 03, 2008 07:37 AM PDTI didn't get it.
These were "protestors"?
What were they protesting?
They sang "Bomb,Bomb Iran", sarcastically, or were they being serious? What's up with the costume?
Who, is doing what, to protest whom, doing what, in this clip?
I am confused!
(hot babes, by the way!)

by Liberal (not verified) on Tue Sep 02, 2008 07:07 PM PDTWatching this video and listening to the "Idiot" spewing propaganda (during the republican convention) . Happy is the one who never gets it.
