She was only 5 when her 17 year old sister did not come home anymore. Everyone seemed very disturbed at home but she could not understand why. Everytime she asked about her sister, she was told that Delara was attending university. She often cried until the family decided to occasionally take her to visit her sister.

This went on for 3 years until she again insisted that she wanted to see her sister, so her mom took her to visit again. After she returned, her other sister found her crying silently in the corner of her room. 

- "Why are you crying?" asked 19 year old Ghazal.

- "I didn't tell mom , but this time I could read the sign at the entrance of the place where Delara lives. That is not a university, it was written: Prison" said the 8 year old as tears were rolling down her face.

Ever since she has been staying very close to Ghazal who is only one year younger than Delara and studies psychology, but her little sister no longer wanted her to go to university worrying that just like Delara she may not come back home.

It is an excellent idea and I personally am very much for it but this is Iranian.com's event and any such invitation must come from Mr. Javid himself. I am sure he has read your suggestion ny now. In fact who knows may be Nazanin can perform Someday with some visuals in the background too and a short speech and event does not even have to be in moral support of SCE but just for human rights too. 

She is at the Geneva Summit and if any such thing needs to be planned , subject to her schedule and other commitments, to see if possible for her to arrange a flight to San Francisco before the event.

But that is first up to JJ and then Nazanin and has to be decided very fast.

In addition to Support for Iranian.com and JJ lets TURN April 25th Concert ALSO into a MORAL AND PUBLIC Support FOR SCE Campaign & Human Rights ! 

Why Not Invite Nazanin Afshin Jam To Join KIOSK, ASLANI, And Others and Have the latters Join PUBLICALLY IN SUPPORT TO IRANIAN.COM AND SCE ?

SOME OFFICIAL STANCE BY PUBLIC FIGURES LIKE ROSS MIRKARIMI AND DECLARATION WOULD BE WELCOMED !

The predicament although less dramatic of Roxane Saberi or Hossein Derakhshan a blogger on Iranian.com should Not be Ignored on such an occasion where their names should be reminded !

I hope that some kind of declaration could be made during the April 25th Concert in Support of the SCE Campaign and Why not have Nazanin come and Speak along with the Support of KIOSK and ASLANI ETC ...

ARTISTS SHOULD MOBILIZE FOR A JUST AND NOBLE CAUSE LIKE THIS WHICH FOR ONCE IS NOT POLITICAL BUT HUMANE !

"OPENING THE CONFERENCE, Nazanin Afshin-Jam, an Iranian-born human rights activist and co-founder of Stop Child Executions, issued a broadside against the Islamic Republic and its president, who is scheduled to address the U.N. conference on Monday.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Supreme Leader Ali Khameini "do not represent the people of Iran," Afshin-Jam said, "but represent a regime of intolerance and the most brutal human rights violations one could imagine."

Repreives in such cases HAVE been granted at the eleventh hour when there has been an international groundswell, as there is in Delara's case.. It's ten o'clock. Perfect timing.
