انگیزه شکل گیری نهاد مردمی از سوی بخشی از کنشگران سیاسی در درون و برون از ایران، فرایندی است برخاسته از خروش ملی و جنبش سبز آزادیخواهی مردم میهنمان بر ضد حکومتگران و نظام بیدادگری که در سی و یکسال گذشته با سرکوب و زیرپاگذاری حقوق مدنی و ملی ایرانیان، موجودیت اشغالگر، ویرانگر و بیگانه خود را بر ملت ایران تحمیل کرده است.

این نهاد با بررسی علل شکست ها و ناکامیهای مبارزاتی مخالفین جمهوری اسلامی در سه دهه گذشته، با بهره گیری از سیستم های تکنولوژی نوین رسانه ای، کامپیوتری و اینترنت، بدور از هرگونه پیشداوری های فرقه ای ایدئولوژیک و نفاق آفرین، شخصیت ها، احزاب، گروها، و کنشگران سیاسی آزادیخواه و ضد رژیم را، برای پشتیبانی از جنبش گسترده مردم ایران به گرد هم فرا می خواند، تا به کمک یکدیگر این حلقه های از هم گسیخته را بهم پیوند داده، تا بتوانیم با سازماندهی تشکل ها و نیروهای سیاسی همپا و پیوسته به این دوران سیاه تاریخ میهنمان پایان دهیم.

هدف
تشکیل سریع یک سازمان متشکل، برجسته، هماهنگ و در سطح بین المللی به منظور حمایت از جنبش آزادیخواهانه مردم ایران برای بر کناری مطلق جمهوری اسلامی و استقرار دموکراسی و حقوق بشر در ایران با اتکا به اصول بنیادین زیر. اصول زیر بنایی ۱- پاسداری از استقلال ملی و تمامیت ارضی ایران
۲- جدایی دین از حکومت (سکولاریسم)
۳- پشتیبانی از منشور جهانی حقوق بشر
۴- برگزاری انتخابات آزاد برای تعیین نوع نظام آینده ایران در دوران پس از برکناری جمهوری اسلامی
۵- مشارکت مستقیم ایرانیان مناطق مختلف ایران در امور اجتماعی، فرهنگی، ‌سیاسی و اقتصادی محلی خود https://www.thenewiran.com

Prologue
The motivation behind the establishment of THE NEW IRAN by a group of Iranian political activists residing inside as well as outside of Iran, is the resultant of the Iranian people’s mass uprising and their freedom seeking Green Movement, against the continued brutalities of the despotic and tyrannical ruling clerical regime in Iran, which has sustained it’s immoral rule and destructive 31-year occupation of Iran, by way of severe oppression of Iranian people’s national and civic rights.

THE NEW IRAN, having systematically analyzed and scrutinized the reasons behind the repeated unsuccessful attempts of the dissidents of the Islamic Regime in Iran (“IRI”) in forming a powerful and united front during the last thirty one years, has integrated the lessons learned and best practices from that analysis with the latest technological systems and the Internet, and devised a powerful social-political-technological framework and platform to connect all IRI opposition groups and individuals worldwide.

THE NEW IRAN, without promoting any particular political ideology or ethnic belief, invites all pro-freedom and anti-IRI individuals, political parties and civic groups to leverage THE NEW IRAN as a mechanism and framework to unite together, collaborate with one another, and to assist the ever expanding freedom movement of the Iranian people; to mend the broken links of the IRI-resistance; and to strengthen the ties amongst all IRI-opposing parties working towards the common goal of ending this dark era of Iran’s history.

Mission
The accelerated establishment of a grass root, united, well-planned and well-managed international organization to support the freedom movement of the Iranian people with the goal of non-violent eradication of the ruling Islamic Regime in Iran, and to replace it with a democratic, secular and pro human rights form of governance, while adhering to the following 5 founding principles. Founding Principles
1. Protection of the national independence and territorial integrity of Iran
2. Separation of religion from the state (Secularism)
3. Loyalty to and support of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights
4. Implementation of free, fair, and transparent elections, to be held after the downfall of the ruling Islamic regime, to determine Iran’s future system of governance
5. Direct participation of all Iranians throughout Iran in their local social, cultural, political, and economical affairs
