If you think the most terrible parts of the Iranian society are ruling this country, you are wrong. The most terrible ones are still in the bag. According to a Persian proverb, “there are so terrible snakes in the hell that people take refuge with the dragons in order to feel safe.” In the political scene of Iran, there are some people (and Mullahs) that think the regime in Tehran is not enough Islamic. These Shiite Taliban of Iran wish to stop the playing of any kind of music in the media and in general. They think making sculptures and paintings are against the rulings of the religion. The women should be limited to the house and the banking system must be base on the interest free transactions and so on. They believe that the followers of other religions should leave the country or pay a special tax called “jezieh” and stoning should be the primary way of execution.
Who are they?
These people include some of the hardliner Mullahs of the Islamic seminaries, parts of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and a major fraction of the leader’s office. Unfortunately, under present conditions of Iran, if any power is going to make a sudden move and turn the things over, it is not the people, not the reformists, not the soft side of the Principlalists, but the harsh and most extrem side of the Principlalists or the aforesaid snakes. Also, if there is a possibility of “coup” in Iran, it is these elements (the snakes) that may do something.
They are against the relations with the west. They enjoy closing the doors to keep the people unconnected as they were. They want them to be one sided and like sheep. They enjoy economic and commercial monopolies. Islamic Motalewfeh Group ( Assadollah Lajevardi, the butcher of Evin and Ayatollah Khamenei, the so-called Supreme Leader of Iran are among its prominent members), Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi ( known as theoretician of violence) , managers and students of Haghani School, office ( or bayt) of the leader, IRGC’s old guard that controls the IRGC, representatives of the leader in various places, the Friday prayer leaders and similar persons are the main parts of these dangerous forces that threaten the future of Iran if left to itself.
