It's finally true. Pervez Musharraf facing almost certain impeachment over crimes you cannot even mention in mixed company, once again took the coward's easy way out and resigned as self appointed president of Pakestan.
The little short man, complexes and bad hair and smarmy Hirohito moustache in tow, bit on the bait set for him by the majority of Pakestan's political coalition who just woke up a few days ago and suddenly realized they had nothing to fear from this stupid baby.
Now let's see if Pakestan has the balls and the brains to stand up against that other dictator waiting in the wings, namely the wolf in mullahs clothing, extremist Islam. With Iran as a close example showing that Islam properly administered can be positively cool, if you know how to handle her, Pakestan straddles the precarious crack of how do we out-India India? How do we stand for something other than India-lite.
The temptation to Islamify their gift of independence from a mere idiot ruler, may be too great for Pakestan to resist. With Iran so close, whispering sweet nothings into their ear,"Do it! DO IT!"
Time will tell, the direction rests on whether Pakestan has the guts to prosecute Musharraf and make him leave the cash he took under the table, on the table as he leaves for the Riviera, or Malibu. It is unlikely though with all the "Thanks for the support in the war against terror" he is getting from this end.
As they say "The Good Die Young, but the Bastards Live Forever!"
