by Faramarz on Thu Jan 12, 2012 06:01 PM PSTI was not into poetry at all until I started posting here and learning from the masters, and by no means I know much about it. I just like singing in the shower!
I also have a few orange and tangerine trees in the backyard and I enjoy the ones with seeds.
I target the birds or lizards with the seeds out of my mouth! But I am sure that they don't mind. It is part of the natural order of things!

Dear Faramarz, I am not into poetry as such, yet enjoyed reading your poem a lot, thank you very much.
We have quite a few citrus trees in our back yard, few of them seeded, and I found the seeded ones tastier. I guess a bit like eating meat off the bone, as opposed to bonless meet, if you get my drift.... Sorry for drifting away from the topic.

Yes, I am very nostalgic :)
But also there's a message in your poem, which is so true.... it is heart breaking.
Thank you.
