Wasn't A Russian Killed also ?
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Feb 06, 2009 01:09 PM PSTI wonder if this is not the event during which a Russian diplomat who was also a famous writer was killed and as a result the Tzar had protested to Iran's Qajar Shah ? I forgot the name of the diplomat but last year in Paris there was a play of his that was performed and his predicament in Persia was mentioned.
By Babis They actually meant Bahais..
by faryarm on Fri Feb 06, 2009 11:31 AM PSTThere was a period, up until the late 1940s actually , when the name Bahai was not as well known as Babi, since the majority of Babis had become Bahais.
