Pass it along, everyone.
DAILY REPORT ON KHAMENEI'S LATEST CRIMES AND REGIME INCOMPETENCE
(March 4, 2011)
1. KHAMENEI THUG WHO ASSAULTED RAFSANJANI'S DAUGHTER IDENTIFIED
He is author and blogger Said Tajik (wearing the light brown jacket in the online video most Iranians have seen).
2. MOUSAVI BECOMES A "NON-PERSON"
Mir Hossein Mousavi's name has been deleted from Iran's Art Academy, even though he was the planner and architect of the building.
AN OBSERVATION:
The term "non-person" refers to prominent purge victims who led the 1917 Revolution in Russia but later disappeared from history books and from photos where they stood next to Stalin. Tactically Khamenei owes most of this totalitarian tactics to both Hitler and Stalin. For other examples see: show trials, brownshirt militias, brutalizing the families of critics, Goebbels "Big Lie" techniques, etc..
Unfortunatelly the Iranian public is too educated and sophisticated not to notice Khamenei's sources. Scorn for the Great Dictator and his Islamic ReTHUGlic has accelerated beyond belief since he took off the gloves after openly rigging the last presidential election. Naivete and trust are gone forever.
3. "THERE WILL BE BLOOD" VOWS KHAMENEI IRCG PUPPET
Revolutionary Guards Command Salar Abnoush has reportedly said that Greens are like "cattle", worshipping Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, and that the Persian Year 1391 (2012-2103) will be a "bloody" one.
OBSERVATION: Sounds just like Khamenei's favored clerics, doesn't he?
4. KHAMENEI MOVES TO "PROTECT" RECENTLY CRITICAL AYATOLLAHS
Closed-circuit television cameras and security posts have been installed by authorities in front of the homes of Grand Ayatollahs Vahid Khorasani and Shobeiri Zanjani "for their safety".
What everyone in Iran knows: The only one from whom they need protection is Khamenei himself and those to whom he offers carte blance to beat, kill, imprison, anyone who disagrees and their family members. ("Couldn't do it without you, Big Daddy!")
Khamenei's behavior since election is nothing new. This is the same sneak who organized death squads to kill off reform journalists and politicians during the Khatemi presidency. And what did he do when his death squads were detailed inthe media? He cracked down on journalism, protected the killers and sent his plainclothes types out to beat, imprison, torture and murder students who protested. I'm reminded of Hitler's pleasure in watching videotapes he ordered of German officers being hung by piano wire after the failed coup of 1944. I wouldn't be suprised if Khamenei gets physically aroused by the "frolics" of his toy soldiers.
5. RESIDENTS OF QOM GIVE KHAMENEI THE MIDDLE FINGER ("Up Yours, Scumbag!")
Saham News reports that residents of the holy city of Qom have defended Ayatollah Khomeini's grandson Hassan against the "insults and attacks of organised thugs".
6. AWFUL NEW POVERTY STATS ARE NO SURPRISE
HomyLafayette looks at a new report from Iran concluding that between 44.5% and 55% of the country's urban population live under the poverty line.
OBSERVATION: Of course, the regime no longer publishes economic stats . Any economist who does is promptly arrested as if the problems would go away--economic failures, incompetence an d corruption. Of course they remain self-evident to everyone--especially by contrast to the successes of oil-less South Korea and Turkey.
What other country offers weeks, months or even years of payless paydays as a "special treat" for its populace? Don't worry, however, the basilj, IRCG generals and clerical hardliners are doing just fine financially.
7. HRANA CLAIMS TWO MILLION CARPET WEAVERS ARE ON VERGE OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
Meanwhile how do you explain the dramatic success of Turkey (no oil), South Korea (no oil) and China (oil but near starvation then) compared to Iran since 1979? Do you think the people don't know about it?

I am betting they are going like:

Defector Sent to Replace Defector Defects
by FG on Fri Mar 04, 2011 11:28 AM PSTThough this report (from the NY Times Lede) concerns Libya, not Iran, several of the defector's observations recall Iran exactly.
A diplomat dispatched to Geneva from Tripoli by Libya's government to replace colleagues who spoke out against Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi at the United Nations last week, has defected and denounced the regime himself.
The diplomat, Muhammad Murad Hamimah, told BBC News on Friday from Egypt that the population of Tripoli is almost entirely against Colonel Qaddafi but is being "held hostage by the security forces." (Simply swap "Iran" for "Tripoli" in the above sentence).
Asked about images of pro-Qaddafi rallies shown on Libyan state television, Mr. Hamimah said that it is not hard to round up one or two thousand people to demonstrate for the cameras if you pay them (Does that sound familiar?)
Hamimah says he "rejects the mandate from the government, which has lost its legitimacy as a result of the commission of acts of violence, intimidation and random murder against masses of innocent people." (Is there any need for explicit comparisons?)

by yolanda on Fri Mar 04, 2011 11:28 AM PSTI am glad that the bully who harassed Rafsi's daughter has been identified! I e-mailed the video to Khamenei's website last Saturday.
Thank you!
FG, Thanks for Great blog

Does Khamenei know how badly he is losing the propaganda war?
by FG on Fri Mar 04, 2011 10:49 AM PSTCensorship used to be easy. Today, a regime can arrest journalists and protestors, swipe rooftop dishes, jam the airwaves, etc. and people learn the truth anyway. Censorship only works for regimes like North Korea--sealed borders, no trade, no travel, no phones (cell or otherwise), no internet and no computers.
The regime can't choose the Noth Korea option for many reason. Nevertheless, Khamenei persists in believing that his subjects can be kept from knowing how the other half lives or what horrific crimes the regime commits. Where they do find out, he thinks he can retain respect by persuading them of the impossible--that he didn't play the central role in aiding and abetting so many horrors.
My Dear Mr. Khamenei:
You would be wiser to assume that every time you encourage commit a new outrage, people will know. The news will appear first on one internet site (Scott Lucas' Enduring America in the above case) and others will pass it along to hundreds of sites. Lastly for those lacking technology within Iran, it travels by word of mouth.
LOSERS--THE SUPREME LEADER AND PALS
The regime's lies work as well as Nazi claims of impending victory after losing 300,000 men at Stalingrad and most of their armor at Kursk. People just scoff anymore. They don't even bother reading regime mouthpieces except for laughs.
The Iranian people know what they are getting what others enjoy elsewhere by contrast. Even the dumbest and least educated are unlikely to swallow the following whoppers:
--The demonstrators are holiday shoppers.
--The regime is so popular that even if security forces and plainclothers were withdrawn only a few hunded people would show up to demonstrate agains the regime. ("Then why not prove it?" say the people. My own bet is multi-millions especially when word passed along that it was safe).
--Consider this sample from six different theories on who killed Neda ("It was the doctor." "It was her fiance." "It was the Greens trying to frame the regime." "It was the MKO," etc.)
--Even if crimes occurred on such a scale, the people still respect Khamenei and love the concept of the Islamic Republic ((Alas, just as Stalin knew about the gulags and Hitler about the concentration camps, Khamenei knew of and approved all).
--The moral regime never sent anyone to attack the homes and mosques of Ayatollahs who condemn the regime's crimes. Nor did it jail the children of hostages or attack the funerals of those it murdered.
--Moussawi and others really do need protection from Israel, the MKO, the CIA, etc. (Everyone knows there is only one source from whom they are in danger. Time after time spokesmen for the regime have repeatedly called for their imprisonment and execution).
--The Supreme Billionaire and his wealthy hardline clerics are moral exemplars who the people should emulate (And why would the people do that?).
--The people of Iran are psychologically different from other human beings, especially young Arabs.
Unlike young Arabs who demand social and political freedoms and decent economies relatively free of favoritism and corruption, Iranians ordinarily would never want such nonsense. It follows that someone (MKO, the West, Israel) put them up to it. Iranians actually love thier payless paydays, their beatings, their religious police, their rigged trials, the seizure of their cell phones and rooftop satellitees etc.
SERIOUSLY THE WORLD--AND MUSLIMS ESPECIALLY--OWE A GREAT DEBT TO SAYYED KHOMEINI AND OSAMA BIN LADEN
Had anyone done more to disillusion the masses regarding the idea of rule by empowed clerics?
People in Iraq and Swat (Pakistan) who experienced the great joys of living under Islamist rule--Al Queda in this case--described their feelings upon being liberation as "like escaping from hell."
Most Iranians living under Khamenei and the Islamic Republic now see themselves in hell. It doesn't matter that they once welcomed the concept of "Islam is the answer." Having got a dose, they'll be immune forever from such an idea once this regime goes. For his part, Khamenei will go down as the worst ruler in 4,000 years of Persian history.
